Does this watch have a count down timer besides the stop watch?

Apparently you can open the watch and mod the pcb board to enable a timer function. Google for "HIDDEN FUNCTION IN MY CASIO W800H MODULE" and see pg 2.

Would it fit the wrist of a seven year old?

It largely depends on the size of the 7 year old. However, the band does have adjustment slots all the way around the band so it can be made very small. If it’s a tiny wrist you may have a flap of the excess band, but I suppose it can be cut to size. It’s a great watch
