Money well spent
This oil is very good, makes my skin smooth and soft, you only need a small amount and it's not greasy, it soaks into my skin, makes my skin looks fresh and supple. The seller carefully packed this item with caution to ensure it does not damage during transit. I will buy again from this same seller. Thank you.

Game-changer!
Use this oil daily, absorbs into the skin without leaving oily residue. Have not had any skin reactions (e.g. spots) so delighted!I use this oil followed by a light moisturiser and my skin stays hydrated all day. Before using this oil I was finding that my skin felt tight and dry by mid-afternoon (I'm early 50's) this oil has changed that, and I've also found that my skin looks great with just a sweep of blusher, lip balm and mascara...no more foundation!!! Happy customer 😀

Soothing
I had never used camellia oil before so I don't know how this compares to others but I can say that after rubbing a few drops into my face under my usual moisturiser it has really helped my very dry skin. My face feels very soft and I have had no sensitivity issues. The bottle was leaking slightly when it arrived hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Impressed
I have naturally curly, coloured hair that has been damaged by the use of too strong a developer. The front top section has a lot of broken hair which meant l had to cut a fringe into the worst of it but was left still with some hair that won’t lie in a curl pattern. It will take about two years to grow it out so l needed to find a good conditioning treatment. This oil is a real find, it is light and easily absorbed, has a very slight, pleasant odour but no overpowering smell of added perfume. Best of all it not only improves the texture of the broken hair but makes all my curls look shiny and l am getting compliments on how nice my hair looks!

A completely food-safe anti-rust treatment for all kitchen knives and other equipment
Sold for use as an ingredient in soap-making and in other cosmetic products, it is also highly recommended for application on kitchen knives and other related equipment as an anti-rust treatment."Camellia Oil 500ml - 100% Pure Cold Pressed" is surprisingly inexpensive compared with 50 and 100 ml bottles sold with a Japanese branding, each priced higher than this - in reality either would probably last as long as the knives on which they will be used. It is completely food-safe and widely used by Japanese sushi chefs to preserve their knives. If it is good enough for them...While even professional quality chefs' knives are claimed to be 'stainless' or 'rust proof', the claims are relative and practical limitations can apply even to knives made by brands with the highest reputations. However, a high proportion of the kitchen knives available within the UK whether sourced online or from highly-reputed suppliers are Chinese-made despite several carrying established British brand names. Not all will and are relatively anonymous, typically described as being made of German or Japanese steel.Several examples are and were owned and there are a few that had rusted so dramatically when stored in a drawer and in no obvious contact to moisture to such an extent that, within a few months, they were no longer food safe. Had this oil then being known and used from an early date, they may have been saved and continued to be used rather than destroyed. There are those who suggest using cooking oil as it is readily available in almost all kitchens but it can coagulate. Some seed-based oils contain tiny proportions of water and salt that both hasten rusting (virgin olive oil contains higher proportions of both) and therefore best avoided. Another suggestion is to use mineral oil (often sewing machine oil) but it is NOT food safe although a common practice in many restaurants. Neither of these are advisable choices and oils based on silicone and other synthetics are absolutely definite no-nos!As the oil will be used from the date of review onwards, probably at 2-weekly intervals for knives used daily, 4-weekly for those less often used, and carefully applied via a piece of kitchen towel, proof of its effectiveness will be much delayed.
