Jellycat Storm Octopus Stuffed Animal, Tiny 5.5 inches - Ocean Sea Plush Toy - Classic Children's Gift

WOW! I am fascinated by octopuses and soft teal blue is my favorite color. So when I saw this octopus on Amazon I had to have it (despite the fact that I'm 73 years old, as of today actually - but I remain a kid at heart!) even though that it was twice my price limit. But it was on sale, and I had some Amazon credit, so I went for it.......and it far exceeds my expectations. First of all, it's huge! A foot tall! Second, it's well made. Third, its smile is uplifting that I feel happy just looking at it (though it is definitely not the octopus in the superb new sci fi novel, The Mountain in the Sea). Fourth, it's incredibly soft. Fifth, its arms are so lovely and stretchable, with soft blue on top and ridged white underneath. This is a high quality loveable stuffed animal. I can't imagine anyone not loving it!

This little octopus has exceeded my expectations. I think he's so cute and looks perfect on my couch at my condo at the beach. He's soft and I love his tentatacles and serves as a pillow of sorts or just something nice to hug :)

So, first of all, I only buy jellycat stuffed animals these days for myself, family, and friends (I don't exclusively buy stuffed animals as gifts, I just mean, if I'm going to buy a stuffed animal as a gift, I always choose jellycat). Yes, I'm a grown woman, but, you know-- They are cute and THE softest stuffed animal brand you can buy, IMO. That being said, this one was returned because the legs were not soft and had sand in them. I like a snuggly stuffed animal to sleep with at night (mostly to keep my arms from falling asleep, but also because they are snuggly, and my kids are too old to want to snuggle with me these days. I selected this one after watching a documentary on octopuses on Netflix and now, subsequently, find myself fascinated by them. But I digress... Overall, very cute, the top part is snuggly and soft and sure to make any octopus lover happy, but the legs make it less snuggly so keep that in mind if that's a factor for you. If you are not getting it for a child (or adult) that wants to sleep with it, it's a perfectly great gift. But the legs just kinda ruin the snuggle factor for me.

We love Jelly Cat. They are so soft and cuddly. Our little definitely loves to play around with this sweet octopus' legs.

This product was perfect for me as a nine-year-old. I rate it a five star recommend it for every kid.

An absolute winner of stuffed animals. Gave to my 2 yr. nephew for Christmas and he loved it. The material is so soft and he is very fluffy and huggable. His tentacles/legs also have a nice texture that deferent from the rest of the body-makes it feel like real suction cups almost. Good size for the price and durable.

Der kleine Oktopus kam schneller an, als Amazon es vorhersagte. Er ist hochwertig und schön. Leider ist die Größe enttäuschend. In den Details steht, dass die Produktgröße 25x20x20 sei. Damit ist vielleicht die Verpackung gemeint. Tatsächlich ist er deutlich kleiner, wie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist. Ein Stern abzug.

On vous annonce 25 x 20 x 20 cm dans le descriptif, mais sur la facture que vous recevez, il est bien écrit 14cm : c'est une microscopique pieuvre qui tient au creux de la main, pas du tout le modèle classique vendu par Jellycat. Avec les frais de livraison à 4,90 et le retour qui est aussi à vos frais, ce n'est pas du tout un achat intéressant.
