Unisex Rb3138 Shooter Aviator Sunglasses

There are so many knock 0ffs of these shades, which is understandable when you look at the list price. However, with a little shopping you can score them at a very reasonable cost, especially relative to their value. I don't like plastic lenses and I want something both quality made and tastefully styled. These fill the bill.Even more important they work! Thinking of investing for the future? Maybe you should buy 2 or more pairs, before the quality changes or the prices increase.

I want these for about 50 years, not the same Care but if I hadn’t lost them, they probably would’ve lasted.

Ray Ban Shooters. Did not like them at first. Went ahead a got them and they are my new daily wear. Good glasses. Can’t go wrong with Ray Ban if you like the aviators.

I wear 1970s built B&L shootering glasses every day. These Luxotica look almost exactly the same, but there is one manufacturering change which I don't like. In my B&L shooters the brow bar's metal goes all the way across. This makes fir a strong frame with the plastic just for comfort. As you can see in my photo Luxotica cheaped out by not running the metal all the way across. Instead the plastic is molded over staked ends creating a stress point for future failure. I don't expect the Luxotica shooters to last 50 years like my B&L shooters. It is a shame, since the Luxotica shooters look and feel good. Update 2024 Februarty: Discovered another problem with the Luxotica version: the brow bar doesn't keep the lenses off my forehead like the B&L ones do. This is part of the cheaping out on manufuacturing costs. the Result is that I have to clean the lenses constantly if I am to look through the upper inside of lenses. B&L designed these for rifle shooters so one would have lens in front of the eyes when sighting. They also give very good almost safety goggle coverage. This brings up another deficiency in the Luxotica shooters: the lenses do not descend down the face as far the B&L Shooters. This reduces the coverage both for safety goggle use and preventing stray light for sunglasses use. My over 50 year B&L shooters have saved my eyes from foreign objects many times. Update 2024 February: Amazon sent me 2 of these which appeared to be returns and were damaged. The 3rd one was good

Love the universal style ! I bought these as a gift for my father because this style is his favorite he has worn these for many many years . The lovely lady in the picture is my mother and she loves who they make her feeds. They are a strong frame for a man and style elegante for all woman . The lens is a nice dark shade with a tint of green .

Nice glasses with beautiful color but they were too small for my wide, square face shape. I'm sending them back!!!!! Shame because they looks really nice :(

I was amazed to find this pair of "used" half price Ray-ban Shooter sunglasses in as new packaging. I have to believe they are new. All good. Thanks Amazon!
