Excellent Toaster Oven
I was going to get another toaster oven, but the reviews all said that toaster oven, also a convection oven, as it ages it's fan sounds like a lawnmower, I changed my mind. So this was the back up plan, at double the cost. I got this on a warehouse deal here for not much more then the other toaster was. In like new condition. As near as i can tell, it has no signs of wear or tear at all. The metal was't scratched from taking anything in or out, The paint job was perfect. Everything just perfect. As you expect from an Oster. If this was a return, I know why. The toaster oven does NOT turn on until you set the timer. Just so you are aware of this. I first thought it was busted when I tried it the first time. But after trying everything to get to work, I started to read the manual, which I never do lol. And yes, you have to set the timer to get it to power on. Once you figure that out, it's all pretty standard. The convection part of it, that's a bit more tricky. It's called "turbo" mode. All that does is it turns on the fan to help decrease cooking time. It does. Drastically. So drastically I turned some toast almost into a fireball when I walked away. And I won't even discuss what happened to the pizza (I walked away lol). But that turbo mode is no joke. It does cook a lot faster, just so you are warned. Don't walk away from it on turbo. The turbo mode itself is below my ability to hear (moderate hearing loss) so to me the machine is completely silent. Your results may vary of course with better hearing. The internal volume EATS 6 English muffins, or 4 regular sized slices of bread for toasting. It also fits in a 12 inch pizza without any real drama. All in all, the fit, finish, and quality is exactly what you expect from an Oster. PERFECT! Folks, this is the only toaster oven you need to consider really.

Great Convection Oven!
I previously owned an Oster and it lasted for a long time - 6-7 years maybe? so I decided to buy another one since I had such good luck with the first one! I use a toaster oven a lot more than the oven in my range because it is much smaller and doesn't "heat up the kitchen" as much. I will say, this one is built cheaper than the first model I had, but I have used the new one for a couple of weeks - 4 or 5 uses - and I love this one also. Much lighter than my old one, but works just as well! It is a toaster oven, so the outside gets quite hot when cooking, but it is a great oven! I especially love the turbo bake for baked potatoes! Cuts time in half!

Does the job!
This is a good toaster! I also broiled a dish using the neat rack with drip pan! I like it. i haven't baked much yet, but it is good looking, easy to read, compact. Glad I bought it. The Turbo function is amazing!!

My Go To Oven
I have not turned on my stove for months. This convection oven handles all my baking. I don't need the big oven to bake for my family since it's just three of us now.I enjoy toasting my bread or making my own toasted sandwiches like they do at Quiznos or Subway. My baked meatballs or meatloaf are moist and good. The frozen food bakes well too, I adjust the time and temperature since the instructions are for a stove top oven. It's easy to clean and it fits perfectly on my counter.

Good Product - watch what you're cooking!
Burnt the first two tings I cooked in it because it gets way hotter faster than the old one. If you use the turbo function keep an eye on the food, it cooks fast. There's a learning curve for the timed settings.

Save your $$. Works well but not designed well or designed to last.
It was great while it worked. We used it daily for toasting and occasionally for pizzas or bacon or cooking snack foods. However, we bought it November 2018, and it died August 2020. So disappointing that a company known for small appliances is putting out inferior “throw-away” products now. Not even two years did it last. Also, cleaning it is a hassle, and the lame crumb tray just dumps the crumbs into the unit if you tilt it a hair too far to remove it. Stupid design. Why not a tray that pulls out straight instead of needing to be tilted to remove? What genius thought it smart to design it to be tilted for removal? And the crumbs that come off as you take your food out of it often end up in the gap between the glass and the unit, under the glass door. You get a line of crumb build-up there and need a brush to sweep it out.

Big "reputable" name and yet I bought this late 2016 and it already died at less than 4 yrs old!!!
One would think Oster is a good brand but after this, I beg to disagree!!!The dial for the timer/minutes, was always 'quirky', to say the least. It was never accurate like a digital-readout would be. It was poorly designed and we often would burn toast and could not trust it to keep the right time. Then this weekend, I turned the timer-knob to toast some bread and NOTHING started! No red light came on as it should, up at the top right corner (see photo #3), and the heat element did not begin to heat even after several minutes. It was as though the unit were dead!I made many changes to the settings knobs (from 'toast', to bake, to broil, to toast again, and to various temperatures), and nothing started or worked! Then I tried the timer dial again, and turned it all the way to the farthest amount of time (60 minutes plus), and the red light came on!! Yet as soon as I let go of my hand, it turned itself off again!!! I tried again, with the same results. Then out of desperation, I held my hand on the button, turned all the way to 60 minutes(!!!), and held it there for 2 minutes until the toast began to turn brown, and I was able to "cheat" the system, so to speak.Today our unit is completely dead, not even the "cheat" method will work!We are sooooo super disappointed! I really enjoyed the size, I LOVED cooking pizzas in it, and it is so new (barely used and clean, it really should not be going out to pasture so soon! The one we had before this lasted 20 years and was a Cuisinart!! And never died, just became so filthy and we decided to replace it!I will never trust Oster again!!
