Excellent quality and fit on my F200XB
Very good quality and look. It fits great on my F200XB engine. It’s very tight at first, but after putting on and taking off a few times, it loosens up just enough. I had dirt daubers get inside the engine and build nests, causing damage. After that was repaired, I put this cover on the engine every time I park the boat. No more problems.

Tight but perfect fit.
This motor cover was quite a bit more than a lot of the alternatives but upon receipt of the item I was please with the product. When covering your motor the first time the fit will be very tight but it stretches a little over time and installing becomes easier. The material seems very durable and the OEM quality is evident. You always get what you pay for.

Perfect fit!
Took a while to arrive after ordering, but was still delivered a day ahead of schedule. Fits my F200XB, 2.8L perfectly. Felt a bit tight the first time I put it on, but perfect fit after that - maybe it needed to stretch a bit in the sun. Easily slips on and off now. Material seems to be great and should provide great protection for my cowling for years to come. I guess we'll see how it holds up in the Florida sun and heat. But initially happy with the purchase, price and quality of the cover.

Update! Great Fit and Quality
As expected from YAMAHA OEM. Nice quality, sharp logo brand lettering and strong retention strap with durable plastic buckle. The cover comes with a soft inside cloth lining to protect my motor. It is easy to install and easier to remove. Perfect protection from Florida's Sun & Salt elements. UPDATE! Still 5 stars! I purchased and installed this genuine YAMAHA cover from Amazon in 2019, 3 years to the day. It has been on my motor every single day enduring the Florida sun and salt. It has finally torn on the top where the sun beats down on it. That is a small investment to protect my motor cowling that still looks like new. As for the tight fit.... yes, snug is what you need for a boat cover! I am ordering a replacement now.

For my 200LB motor, the cover was a tight fit. Works good though and really good quality fabric.
