Not for my Apevia PC computer
I don't know if it works because I didnt have the right PCI size for this adapter.

Works perfectly with M-Audio Envy24 based cards!
I didnt even know this was a thing until I saw it randomly browsing. It immediately reminded me of my old trusty Delta-44, released for Windows 9x, and 25 years old now. This adapter works exactly like youd expect, the only hurdle was mounting the thing, which ultimately only required a bit of filing on the retainer to accomodate the DSUB on the Delta. It shows up in Windows under System Devices as "PCI-E to PCI bridge", and is transparent aside from that. The Delta shows up as it always has, installed the (Win 8) driver fine, and still captures flawlessly at 96Khz/24 bit with a 256 sample buffer for an eye watering 2MS input latency. Thats why I love this card so much, and strongly reccomend this adapter for anyone in a similar situation. Just to be clear - this is a 25+ year old card with drivers that didnt get past Win 8 beta, so if it can run this completely transparently, it can probably run any PCI card you'd reasonably want to run.

It Works. A Bit Wonky. Good enough for me and the money....
I got this so I could still use my older, PCI fax modem in a new computer lacking anything other than PCIe slots. The PCIe fax modems I can find are expensive, don't have speakers so you can hear progress, and have only a line-in plug (where my old modem has a line-in and out to support a handset on the same line). This only cost me $18 or so and seemed to be the right tool for the job. As you can see in the photos, the metal mounting bracket on mine arrived bent way out of shape. I bent it back into what seems the approximate, correct position. In order to accommodate the old fax modem, I had to remove its metal mounting bracket. I did not expect this and don't know if that is intended. Not sure how it could work/fit otherwise. So beware you will likely have to remove yours. Mine was easy - 2 screws. As a result, the fax modem is really not that well secured to anything. I could maybe improve that using some zip-ties should it prove a problem. But so far, it is not. Also, the fax modem seems to be a 3.3v device so no need for me to use the molex connector. Other devices may well need it. Finally, I saw comments about poor soldering. The unit shown in the listing must be old as the circuitry on the one I got is very different. But all the soldering I see is just fine. I can once again send faxes (which I sometimes need to do once every 3-4 years). All-in-all a well spent $18.

Doesn't work
I got this to attempt to install an Adaptec AHA2930CU Host Bus Adapter in a new computer with no PCI slots, only PCIe. While the adapter will plug into a PCIe slot and the bracket can be screwed down, there's no way to actually plug in a card to the adapter and access the card connector with the SCSI cable. I even tried removing the existing bracket from the Adaptec card, but there's no way to secure it to the adapter bracket even if it would fit, which it doesn't. I could possibly kludge it together by cutting the adapter bracket and drilling it to attach the card connector, but fuggedaboutit.See attached pics.

Works great out of the box. No drivers needed for win11
Was trying to get an old PCI card working with windows 11. This did the trick with no drivers needed! Great for the price.

Acquistato per fare da tramite di una scheda audio, il funzionamento era "strano", si sentiva basso, male e gracchiante...una schifezza. Rimosso ed accantonato. Inutile. E trovo inutile usare queste scarse interfacce per far funzionare apparecchiature obsolete
