Neutrogena Clear Pore Facial Cleanser / Face Mask containing Kaolin & Bentonite Clay, Acne Treatment with Benzoyl Peroxide, 4.2 fl. oz

This is the BEST by far of all washes. It has the right amount of bp which can dry and aggravate if too much and cause dry cracked skin and inflamed blemishes. This stuff is the best, by far. Leave on when not being social on any prone or problem areas. FTR, when used WITH Proactive (or similar), as an extra first step, truly miracle working on really persistent issue prone skin. 2 mos, clear, forever, bascially. Also, fyi, greasy oily fatty food DO impact as does coffee tea and sodas (dehydration leads to inflamation, for some), your shampoo (use clarifying or oil free only) and esp no conditioners, and we need sleep.

I love this product. Love it. I use it all the time and it does wonders. If you tend to have dry skin, maybe avoid it though. Mine is more oily/mixed, so it works for me. Plus I like that I can mask in the shower after shampooing and while conditioning because I have long hair and it take a hella long time for me to shower. (technically it's better to let it dry and showers don't really let that happen, but it still helps my blackheads) Unless I'm feeling extremely lazy and need a lot of other pantry products I will not buy here though. Prime pantry is the devil, but that has nothing to do with how awesome this Neutrogena product is.... just... maybe go somewhere else for it?

I like this mask. I don't use it outside of the shower, but I do put it on when I get in the shower and then I leave it on while I do all my other shower stuff, rinsing at the end. I like that it smooths my skin, and dries up any blemishes without leaving my face with that weird parched top layer thing--- if it happens to you you know to what I'm referring. If not, then nevermind. :) It's nicely gritty without being a harsh exfoliator, so you do get some exfoliation when you apply it. It doesn't harden (or at least in the shower it doesn't. I guess I don't know about outside the shower). It seems to absorb excess oil, and I seem to stay matte longer on days I use it. Update: I had to remove a star. I'm an idiot. I realized after a couple uses of this that it is NOT the product I was thinking I bought; I bought the wrong one. This is nice, but it has benzoyl peroxide in it, which bleaches EVERYTHING. The product I love is the Neutrogena Deep Clean Shine Control Cleanser Mask. It looks and behaves much like this one, without the harsh BP. If you are new to benzoyl peroxide, be careful, as it does bleach everything, but it also makes you incredibly photosensitive and you will very likely burn with sun exposure.

This product is amazing for oily and acne prone skin. The ability to use it as a mask or cleanser is very helpful. I opt to use it as a mask almost each time. It penetrates deeply into the skin and helps clear up stubborn acne quickly. I got this product at an awesome discount from the Pantry and decided to stock up. Item came quickly and in good packaging.

I use this for the occasional pimple or break out. I just apply a little over the problem area, so blemish is covered, and by morning pimple may still look a little imperfect, but the actual pimple is gone. If I put on whole face, I can see the skin flaking from this product drying skin, so be careful on that. Great product that can control blemish almost before you even notice it.

I use it as a mask rather than a cleanser i just put it on before shower and wash it off in there because it’s so hard to wash off as a cleanser one good thing is it does lather on quite nicely but acne wise I honestly don’t really see a change but going to keep on using it as a mask because it’s so cooling and tingling to the face

I use this as a benzoyl peroxide-based mask. I constantly commit a crime against beauty and pop my pimples because I can't resist. This mask is great because it helps "dry" the offender out, and I usually dab on some neosporin to help protect against scarring. This is by far one of my favorite masks for helping fight a breakout. I don't know if it helps prevent a breakout. So I can't review this as a cleanser since I only use it as a mask, but I also don't think I would get the full benefits of the main ingredient when compared to using it as a mask because it doesn't sit on your skin for as long.

Recommended by my dermatologist as part of a rosatia treatment and it works very well for clearing the skin up. It burns a little if left on too long, but that's easily avoided. Bought in bulk thinking I would burn through it, but that wasn't necessary due too how little it takes for each use. How long it has lasted made the price more palatable as well.
