This book is very insightful and it is full of diagrams which is what I used to study. From molecules to systems this author makes the read very relevant and easy to understand. It also comes with a code to download the book to my iPad. I also appreciate the customer support included with the purchase of this book.

Came in great quality, the information is presented clearly, and the main text is printed in two columns per page with clear graphs. More dense than other textbooks and goes into specifics I would have not known about otherwise while still allowing for refresh on the basics. Has further reading sections for those curious and wanting more. Highly recommend!

An excellent book. However they sent me a used one.

This is one of the best written and easily understood technical books I have ever read over my wide field of Electronics and Engineering. I only have a High School Level understanding of Science and biology. If you are willing to take your own notes and make an intellectual effort you can learn what is going on in your body. I purchased Guytons to understand what was going on with my body so I could discuss things with my Doctor. Unfortunately my Doctors do not have time for questions..... :- ( I mentioned to a nurse that I bought this book to so I could understand my condition better. He replied that it was a very hard book to understand. That nurse frightened me because I thought it was an easy book to learn from. But I will grant that the nurse had 6 other subjects to learn at the same time and was under lots of stress. I shelled out the big bucks for the hardback with online content. The online content for what I needed was garbage quality. Osculation was such a poor recording. There are much better YouTube videos. If you need an electronic version just get the Kindle version rather than the poorly executed and proprietary e-content.

This is an amazing book for new medical students to understand the physiology. It connects all the topics and makes it like a story.

Good textbook for physiology.

Needed this for University, arrived in great condition. Very great illustrations and explanations, it is a pretty good textbook.

Muy buen libro, para Medicina, Enfermería, Biología. Llegó en tiempo, en buen estado. El único defecto en todo el libro era una línea magenta en una sola página, pero insignificante para mí.

There hardcopy should come with an access code to additional resources e.g. videos and diagrams online. This copy did come with an access code that had not been scratched off, however the code cannot be used on Elsevier ebooks. The link on the cover page is also fake.
