I am a woman of color who thought that my melanin would protects me from the sun rays. After researching, I realized that people of color are only protected up to SFP 13.7, and we all need to be protected up to SPF 30. So I purchased this cream, and it does wonders for your skin. It protects up to SPF 50, and what I love is it gets absorbed into the skin to deeply moisturize your skin, and leaves you a glowy, dewy, healthy appearance. I really dont like the price though. I wouldn't mind the price if there was twice amount if product. I used 2.5 pumps a day on my face neck and upper chest, and it has lasted me over a month and I still have about a half a bottle left. I love the dermalogica line of products. I also have their chemical exfoliant, precleanse, and cleansing gel. Their are expensive, but at least you get a fair amount of product, and they work beautifully! I feel that it's ok to spend some money on your health and your face because people look at your face all day, so it should look good with and without makeup. Also, your face is subject to sun rays, pollution, and free radicals which age your face even if you're only in your 20's (aging starts that early.) When you start to really research skin care, you realize how important it is. It's better to realize that before you cause irreversible sun damagr. UPDATE: my bottle lasted 3 months and a week after using 2.5-3 pumps daily on my face neck and declattage. That's $73 every 3months. Dunno if it's worth it, but my skin looks fab!

I can't live without it! It's light, stays on and not only protects from the sun but has a hydrating formula so I don't have to use an extra moisturizer. I also mix it in my foundation which gives my foundation a lighter feel and a glow to my face. I have sensitive skin and I never have breakouts with this!

Yeah, the sunscreen is fine enough. Not $80 good- there are some in the $30-40 range (La Roche for example) that are just as good. But what I really don’t like is the cheap plastic component it comes in. My CeraVe is in a thicker plastic and then there are brands out there like The Ordinary that use glass.

I have combo skin and this is as lightweight as promised. Sunscreen is usually too thick and clogs my pores. This is effective and I haven't broken out in the couple of weeks I have been using it. I combine this with Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Cream moisturizer with no adverse effect. The price point is high but it is FSA eligible and that definitely helps.

I absolutely love this cream. I have been using this cream for over 20 years. I first discovered it when I went for a facial. I told the massage therapist that I have lupus and that I have a butterfly rash on my face from the lupus and my skin is very sensitive to the sun. Also I needed something that would help me with anti-aging since I was hitting my 40’s. She showed me this product and I haven’t used anything else since. I do use cleansers first and toner and then I apply the skin recovery after. It is great because it has SPF50 which is the protection I need for my lupus. I not only need it on my face but my neck , chest, and ears, and hairline. The anti-aging really works. I am now 60 and you cannot tell I am my age. It could be genetics but people have asked if I’m 30-35 and my daughter is 26 and they ask if we are sisters. I’m flattered. I have no wrinkles whatsoever and I’ve had no work done to My face or neck. But I do think the key was starting using the product early because if you already have wrinkles I don’t think they are going to magically disappear. But if you are 35-40 and take care of your skin and start using this product religiously like I did, it will make a difference. I highly recommend!
