So what to say about this other than it is truly a steal for the price? Assembly was not very difficult, it took a while but the manual was very clear and easy to follow. The unit itself has a really nice woodgrain finish and seems quite sturdy. It is labeled as being for a 50 inch tv...which is what we have on it, but honestly it could easily hold a size or two bigger. It is a fair amount wider than the TV is. I love the shelf underneath the TV, it perfectly fits a cable box and a blu ray player...or whatever you would want. For us it keeps us pointing the remotes in the same direction. I also LOVE the glass doors on the sides. They look elegant and have a decent amount of room in them. At first we were a bit scared to put something as important as photo albums in them for concerns of them getting too hot. We soon discovered though that they...or the area above where your electronics sit for that matter...don't seem to heat up at all, so that concern is gone. All in all a beautiful...and functional unit. I did receive 1 defective hinge, however their customer service got a replacement shipped out to me immediately. The fireplace portion is very nice as well. The "wood" in it actually looks much like hot coals when it is on. The flame is projected on the back and honestly looks much more realistic than I expected. The heat output is quite nice, and it is separate from the "flame" so you can have the fireplace going with or without heat. It will warm the room very quickly when you have the heat on and the fan sounds like a fan, but is pretty quiet and unintrusive. $160? You have got to be kidding me!!! Well well worth the money!! I am going to add on to this review. So we moved and I am now using this in the basement. Several years later and still going strong. As a matter of fact, I ordered the natural finish version to go upstairs. A bit more expensive now but still a great piece that compliments a room of completely different decor perfectly. I would also add that the design of the hinges has been updated and it is much easier now to get the glass doors lined up correctly, big win in my opinion!!

Honestly for the price, I was thinking that whatever flaws it had, I could cover up. And if it at least warmed my 16x14 four season sunroom, I could accept that. BUT OMG! The quality is way beyond what I expected. No flaws. The paint, wood, glass and hardware are spot on. The details of the decor or etching gives it a semi high end look. I was truly delighted that it came with a heavy duty base already assembled. I am very handy but this is simple enough for one person to assemble. But two people are definitely required to lift the box into the room where it will be used. And if you take the extra time to review, organize and truly look at the pictures, you won’t go wrong! As for the fireplace unit. It comes as one piece. It’s easy to install (take your time to center it and you won’t see any gaps). The heat (blower) just about ran me out of the room (14x16), minutes after turning it on. The fire display is a little on the cheap side but still gives a great ambiance to the room. I can see it looking even better at night. This piece feels like it will last a good little while. It’s heavy and very sturdy. I don’t foresee any issues in the near or far future. Down side. No remote nor temperature control. But it’s not going to kill me to get up and push the button.

Looks very nice. Takes probably 2 hours to put together, not bad. Just follow the instructions and make sure you put each piece on correctly ( especially the orientation of it). You don't want to have is almost done and realize one piece is wrong and have to take it apart to just turn a board around. All the pieces were good besides the base, the base had some of the laminate coming off but all I did was take a black sharpie and color in the small areas that had exposed wood. Works great and you can't even tell. When it's all done it looks very nice and is very sturdy for sure! I am happy with the purchase! If you have the money to have it shipped assembled I would if you don't like putting things together that take a couple hours, other than that its great. Fireplace looks like real fire too, not the cheap ones and the heater works great, nice and warm! Can't wait to have the heater and fireplace on in the Winter when it's cold and snowy.

Schönes Möbelstück. Das Holz ist schön verarbeitet und ist schwer. Der Aufbau war sehr einfach aber zu zweit geht's schneller. Das Kaminfeuer sieht schön aus und macht eine tolle Atmosphäre. Das Wärmegebläse ist in seiner Leistung sehr gut. Wenn es zu warm wird, schaltet es sich automatisch ab. Zu beachten ist, das der Schrank nur mit einem englischen Stromstecker geliefert wird. Man braucht also einen europäischen Adapter. Am besten direkt mitbestellen. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Cleaned up a cluttered space for us. Fire doesn't look that realistic, but we didn't expect it would. Heats up the room nicely. The wood is sturdy and solid.

Great little faux fireplace. Have had it for two years now and works great. Gives off a respectable amount of heat.

Easy to assemble, quality materials and we love the colour. Heat output is so so. Really wish it had a remote and adjustable heat controls.
