Great product
Works great. It’s hard for me to use as intended (sitting on toilet) because I have a small round toilet, not oblong. Sometimes the paper gets a little stuck but that is not a big deal. I am so grateful that these products are available. I had a recent injury to my dominant hand and with being obese it is harder to wipe with my non-dominant and. I work in Healthcare and have seen them before. I just thought I would use it a lot later. Again, I am grateful that these products are available.

Marvelous, useful item.
Fantastic item to use after surgery. So helpful for those with arthritis, amputations, etc.

disappointed
this thing worked ok for a minute. most of the time, the toilet tissue would not be released as it should have been, it was better to use the flushable wipes. that was prior to the thing breaking after less than a week's use. the tissue release button got jammed and now I basically have to take the toilet paper or flushable wipe off manually.

I mean it's a tricky situation
Honestly after reading some of these reviews, I was pretty sure these butt wipers were going to cause a poo-splosion in my bathroom. Listen idk how these folks be dumpin, but it's not so bad to use. Here's my advice: when you go to wipe, the paper gets pushed back toward the handle, so orient the paper more toward the very front or top on the wand. Wrap it a few times if you need to, and for best results use flushable wipes. Just stick it back there, give it a few quick back-and-forth thrusts, but once you pull it out youre done until you reload (unless you double-wipe, nasty). The release function does not work very well, so i just shoved the excess in the grabber pocket and pulled it off after by hand. If youre looking for like a slow, calm, thorough clean, this ain't it, but if you got poop you can't reach, it can get that just fine. Depending on how long you need it, it's really not bad. I needed it for 3-4 weeks after major surgery and I never once got poop on my hands or on any part of the toilet (except the inside obviously but that was intentional).

Good idea-poor execution
So the idea of a long reaching tool to help clean when you can’t reach, for whatever reason, is a good one. However, this tool doesn’t perform as expected. 1. It says not to submerse the end of the tool, but the very purpose is to remove liquid and solid waste, so it’s going to get wet and dirty, and need cleaning. 2. Although it worked when tested with dry TP, the soiled TP sticks to the rubber end of the tool and doesn’t release into the toilet when the release button is used, leaving you to remove the soiled paper by hand.

Great tool when needed
A great convenience after surgery or for people who have difficulty with getting clean. They drive very quickly after washing and are very hardy

Fanwar Toilet Aid: More of a Skirmish Than a War
I’ve used several toilet aids over the years (yes, really), and the Fanwar had promise—but it tapped out early. After just six months, the rubber tip started peeling from the bottom up, making it awkward and frustrating to use. For comparison, my longest-lasting aid held strong for six years. The Fanwar? A mere blip on the hygiene radar. I expected a sturdy ally; what I got was a short-term truce before total surrender. Useful while it lasted—but that wasn’t long enough. If durability matters to you (and it should), you might want to look elsewhere.
