Would this card be stiff enough to make small boxes that will be scored and cut by my cricut?

Yes, it's very unlikley you will get anything heavier than 300gsm to make a box with anyway but I use it to marble ink then make boxes with and the marbling doesn't weaken the card so go for it. As long as the Cricut will take heavy cardstock and not jam or break it's good to go.

Is the card black on both sides or does it have a white back?

I bought the white ones and they was white both side ! I suppose the black is same and black both side 🤷♀️
