Works great and I've had it for about 2 years now and the case has some chips on the edges bit still is basically all together. The keyboard cover also isn't faded like some other brands. Overall great purchase

Fits perfect! However, make sure that the three clips on the top piece are at the FRONT lip and NOT back by the hinge. It will still work/look fine, but then the side indent on the top piece doesn't line up with the clip on the bottom. (Shown in picture how it's supposed to line up) This would have driven my perfectionism crazy, so I fixed it. HELPFUL HINT: to take off the top, loosen the side clips and SLIDE the piece off SIDEWAYS. Much easier than trying to unclip at top or bottom edge!Love the color, feels smooth, and more durable than other more expensive brands. Sleeve smells kinda funky but I'm sure that will fade. Dust plugs are cool; probably won't use the screen protector. Keyboard layover fits perfect, don't think it will affect my typing. Overall excellent for the price!

The case doesn't fit the computer, it is the correct model and size, but the case has some kind of defect that doesn't allow a perfect fit

The typical macbook cover. It's there for aesthetics, not the safety of the computer. It's there to keep it from getting scuffed up, but that's the maximum it can do. I went online searching for an otterbox for my max, essentially, but there's nothing out there that is affordable, at least not for a computer you're forced to have for work, but one for which you are not given a cover.The skin loses its color on the keys you touch the most. So weird looking at that point, so you can either be vain and keep buying them, or just deal with how it looks, which ain't great.

Bought the deep purple one, the color is gorgeous!!! The case fits nice and tight. The keyboard skin fits great!! I have bought keyboard skins before for my MacBook Air and they did not fit tightly as this one does. Only complaints are the covers for the USB, etc are actually way wrong, there are only enough to cover 1 USB, the headphone input, the power input, the SD input leaving 1 USB and the lightning input uncovered.But great product, will definitely buy more colors later.

The color is lovely and I love the shell and keyboard protector! My only complaint is that the sleeve seems to be about half an inch short when the shell is on, which means the flap gaps open a little on the front. It's not a big deal, but does seem odd since they are sold in a set together.
