Just what I needed
This adapts my DriveSmart 66 gps with its 17mm socket to my Ram Mount on my Goldwing. Works great.

Simplified the navigation system install for me
works perfect for my mounting system that has a large ball cup and my navigation system that has a smaller ball socket simplified the whole installation

Upside works well for my gps Garmin , but dgood side the larger size ball is rubberized ( Good) for the ram mount , down side smaller size ball for gps is not and very smooth, think i will have to gett some friction in there to help stabilize help but overall works

Ball mount works with TomTom GO520 magnetic cradle mount (2nd gen)
Needed a mount that would work with a TomTom GO520 cradle mount. The original mount is suction based. My setup uses a small RamMount tough claw with 1" ball mount and 1" extension arm. This accessory fit my requirements. The cradle mount easily separates from the small ball mount. However, mounting the slightly larger ball (17mm) to the cradle required the use of a compression clamp to push in. Make sure you leave the inner ball sleeve (this what make the tight fit). Since this is a tight fit, it's best to set it perpendicular to the mount and leave it there (or whatever angle you wish to set it to). The tight fit prevents the GPS unit from jiggling or flopping around (ideal). Positioning the GPS unit for view can be done with the RamMount arm. I've been using this on the motorcycle and have not seen any issues with it being loose/jiggling.

Good Ram Mount to Garmin mount
Good addition if you are using the Ram Ball mount system and want to mount a Garmin GPS to it. So far works good.

Better then expected used with ram mount and lisen magsafe charger
Larger ball is 1inch or “B” size, the smaller end is 9/16 or possibly size “A”. Works perfectly for ram mount suction cup mount with this attachment going to a new lisen magsafe ice cooler charger. The adapter balls are solid and don’t look or feel like they would melt. Price was also great
