Love this sauce!
I love a good Hollandaise sauce. I have not been able to find it in any grocery stores in my area for months. I finally decided to try Amazon and there it was. This is my 2nd time ordering it. I love it. Easy to make, tastes great! And you don't have to go through the trouble of clarifying butter and all that homemade sauce requires!!

The BEST Hollandaise Sauce
I purchased this hollandaise sauce after a friend recommended it for their family and am extremely glad that I decided to try it myself. The taste is delicious and the container is generously sized for multiple uses. I do wish that there were directions for making smaller batches instead of using the entire container at one time, which is unreasonable for a home use. However, I have purchased this hollandaise sauce several times now and plan to keep an extra in my pantry. I use the following directions for making the hollandaise sauce: Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons of hollandaise sauce powder 1 cup of milk 1/4 cup of butter Directions: Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add hollandaise sauce powder to the melted butter and whisk in a small amount of milk until smooth. Slowly add the remaining milk, whisking until ingredients are well mixed. Heat until the mixture comes to a boil and then allow the mixture to boil for one minute, whisking continually. Any leftovers can be refrigerated and used later. Enjoy!

Close, But...
What a great way to make hollandaise. I like being able to buy 6 at a time for a reasonable price without having to search for it in the grocery store, only to find they're out. I did notice that the packaging was not exactly the same as those purchased in store. It was not as durable, ripped easily, not glossy. Not sure what that means. Finished product seemed to lack a bit of the viscosity of store purchase, maybe add a little extra butter and a squirt of lemon next time.

1/2 cup recipe= 6 -TBLSP water; 2.5 -TBLSP mix; 1- TBLSP Butter.
Easy to mix, except you REALLY need to know your measurements to cut this down for a smaller serving. 1/2 cup recipe= 6 -TBLSP water (3 oz.); 2.5 -TBLSP mix; 1- TBLSP Butter.

GREAT value since the Knorr Hollandaise Sauce in the individual packets seem to have disappeared!
We always liked the Knorr's individual packets that called for milk... which seems to have been discontinued. We tried other mixes that called for water but they tasted bland and thin. I ran across this and while the label calls for water to mix, a couple of the reviews mentioned mixing with milk and getting a great end-result. I decided that it was worth $20 to see (I'd eventually use it even if the Wife hates it :-) ) Conclusion: We are extremely happy with this..... we can now enjoy the same great flavor with the ADDED benefit of making exactly the amount that the 2 of us use at a meal rather than wasting almost 1/2 when using the old packets. Mix 1/2 cup of milk with 3-4 Tablespoons of butter/margarine.... warm GENTLY until the butter melts then add a 'generous' Tablespoon (4 teaspoons) of the mix. Wisk constantly as you heat to a light-boil and simmer for a minute. Adjust ratios as needed for more/less.....

Knorr beat McCormick in dry mixes
The Knorr dry mixes are wonderful. I have made Hollandaise sauce from scratch and have used the McCormick dry mix. It wasn't until I tried the Knorr Hollandaise sauce mix that made me a firm believer in this product. I give high praise to Knorr's Guacamole, Brown Gravy. Au Jus dry mixes, in addition to their Hollandaise. They also have wonderful bouillon!
