The Moen T2903EP Gibson Posi-Temp One-Handle Tub/Shower Trim Only without Valve in Chrome will need a Moen Pos-Temp rough-in valve for installation, which must be purchased separately. Moen offers multiple installation options for our Posi-Temp rough-in valve: 2510-threaded connections, 2520-solder connections, 2580-PEX connections, 2570-solder connections with built-in shut offs and 2590-threaded connection with built-in shut offs. Can the slip on spout be installed on a threaded pipe?

If your current pipe has treads you would need to cut them off to install the tub spout. Is this a push pull setup?

The handle is off in the 6:00 position and rotates counter clockwise starting at full cold, mixing cold and hot, to full hot at 9:00 then rotate clockwise to turn off the valve.
