Sakura is the OG of gel pens & the Gelly Roll gel pens are an absolute must if you’re a pen nerd like me! These Gelly Roll Moonlight pens by Sakura are highly pigmented, very opaque, neon gel pens that are simply top tier quality. Smooth ink flow & crazy color. I personally think these pens look their very best when used on black paper & highlighted by a black light bc the colors just pop like no other pen has ever before! The dry time is just a *slight* touch longer than the average gel pens & it’s best to be mindful of that so as to not smear. I purchase these pens pretty regularly. The price charged here is on par with the average cost at other places & the shipping was super quick - got them delivered in just a day or two. These specific pens from this are bold lined at 1.0, but they make them in .06, too (possibly other sizes, but I only know .06 & 1.0 for certain). I highly recommend these pens. They’re affordable, well made, fun, bright, & just really cool!

I wish these lasted longer, but these are the brightest, most beautiful colors to use on black paper. They do smear a little bit, but the pin quality and the value for your money is phenomenal. Definitely get these..

They are amazing pens. Shows up on black paper beautifully. And stands out on white paper too. Smooth flowing even ink. Thick not see through. I love them. Will be ordering soon again. Shipping was a little pricey. If u dont have prime. But we'll worth the money.

The sakura gelly roll write nice and smooth on the paper and doesn't smear they dry nice and quick when I color paper and they are really bright colors

These are the best pens I have been able to find that write visibly on black paper. I have tried to find other pens (both Gelly Roll brand and other brands) for writing on black paper, and this pen set is the option I will buy again when my current set runs out of ink. My favorite characteristic of these pens is that the ink is easily visible on BOTH black and white paper. (The necessary exception is that yellow is not easily visible on white paper. Yellow is great for black paper still.) The pens write very smoothly, and the ink colors are both vibrant and unique to one another. A negative aspect of these pens is that the ink does not dry immediately, the drying times are often inconsistent, and this makes smudging a problem. As these are paint pens, I expected a longer drying time that ballpoint pens, for example. However, the ink in these pens does not come out uniformly, so drying time can vary significantly. Additionally, these pens leave occasional ink puddles, for lack of a better word, on my papers. Although these "puddles" are small, they are the primary source of smudging and they sometimes make what what supposed to be a precise line much less precise. For reference, I am right-handed, I use these pens to take lecture notes, and I am not familiar with art techniques that might allow a person to avoid smudging/ink puddles. I would caution left-handed people especially to be aware of the slow and often irregular ink drying time prior to purchasing this product. Overall, I am very happy with this product, and I would definitely buy it again. All though the product is not absolutely perfect for me, I do not feel that any problems discussed above occur constantly or substantially impact my ability to use these pens effectively. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best option available for pens that write on black paper.

these are the best gel pens! this is the second time i've bought them and i will continue to purchase these for my artwork needs. most of them glow in the blacklight which is exciting! they are smooth, duranr and user-friendly

Los colores son brillantes, se repiten algunos, pero no hay problema, lo que si es que uno de los colores vino seco, y me he dado cuenta que las tapas no sellan muy bien, algo blandas para mi gusto... pero en si la tinta fluye bien y es excelente para los fondos negros
