Is there an issue with zinc reacting with sulfur in diesel fuel?

Thanks for your question! The threads on the tap cap that thread into the filter canister are 1"-12, and the threads on the tap cap that thread onto your fuel line are 3/4"-14.

Can it be placed upside down

Thanks for your question! This 595-3/4 fuel tank filter should work when installed upside down, but probably not as well as installing it in its intended orientation. If it is upside down, all of the particles filtered out of your fuel will be resting beside the filter element instead of away from it at the bottom of the canister, so every time you use the filter, these particles will be run through the filter again and be filtered out of your fuel again. This will result in the filter being worn out faster than when it is used in a more standard orientation.

Will this work on my furnace supply line?
