Wow. These files are simply amazing. Yes, I am a guy, a mechanic by trade, and you wouldn't think my nails would be a big concern to me. Figure I use wire cutters to trim my nails, and a grinding wheel to take the edge off. And while that may be true at times, I still take time to really clean them up when I am at home or in the car. For years I have bought manly stainless steel rasp-stlye fingernail files, and they work fine for getting the nails to a good shape, but I cannot stand even the slightest snag, chip or odd deformity in my nails, so I would use either my teeth or some Emory cloth to finish the job. One day I thought "this is stupid", and figured I would raid the wife's stash of nail supplies and see what I could come up with. The paper files wore out too quickly, the metal rough ones worked fine, but always left a even, but not quite smooth finish, and the foam/cube ones weren't able to get under the edge to finish the job. So I used the metal ones for a while. Fast forward to about a month ago when all my files were either getting worn, getting lost, or getting destroyed from using them as a substitute for some sort of tool, and I hit up the old Amazon for some replacements. Sort by review, and ended up with a ton of these glass files on top of the list. Pfft, glass files. Well, I guess I can watch a few YouTube videos, do a little research, and found myself intrigued by these little wonders. Hmm, order a few by this recommended brand, and I can slip one into my wife and daughters stocking if nothing else. Got them, hid them away so they wouldn't see them and forgot about them for a few days. I need a file, I need a file, I need a file, where the @$&#( are all my files....oh yeah, the dainty glass ones. Check them out, pick out a couple to set aside for stocking stuffers, and go to work. Oh my, these are pretty good. Oh my, these are great. Oh my, my nails are so smooth, these are AMAZING! Even with the non-aggressive grit, they make quick work of little chips, snags and even reshaping due to a break. They leave the edge so smooth, and with little to no flashing like the metal files leave. I went from removing a chip to doing all my nails and had them done in no time. Oh yeah, a quick blow and tap and the file looked almost new, and with no need to find another spot on the file that wasn't clogged or worn down. To say I am impressed is an understatement. Only problem now is even though I have 3 after the 2 I am giving away, I really want to keep them all for myself (but I won't). Seriously, I like them that much. The next thing will be to see how long they last. That was one reason I went ahead with buying them was the promise of a long lasting (if not forever) file. Being they are glass, which is much harder than my nails, I am sure they will hold up well, as long as I don't try to use them as a prybar or screwdriver. Pretty impressed. Only odd thing about my, will I say it, yes I will, my love for these files is the strange looks I get from my fellow mechanics when I geek out about how great these are. Although I bet a few of them pick up a set, uhh, for their wives, of course. So yes. Great product. Gonna stop now so I can go do something to mess up a nail, since I have a wonderful tool to fix it with.

I never write reviews. But these nail files are truly great. They leave nails very smooth. If you don't break them they will last forever. The colors are nice too!

These are the best nail files I've used. I bought the glass one for feet and loved it and thought I'd try these when I ran out of working nail files. Love them. They work with not much back and forth on nails. And will last.

These are so nice!!~ Great little gift add-in's. They file your nails beautifully and no rough edges, perfectly smooth!

These are the real deal. Beware of ones that aren't. I bought 2 other similar looking sets of files on Amazon that were garbage. By that, I mean the coating that files your nails wore off in about 3-4 uses, leaving nothing but smooth glass. Those must have been coated, rather than having the abrasive material etched into the glass, as these apparently are. Consequently, these files last forever, which makes it woth paying a bit more for them. I took off one star because they are a bit thin, making them somewhat easy to break. But overall, I like these files a lot and am happy with my purchase.

These are the best nail files I've ever had. They're made out of glass so they last for a long time, unless you break them. I ordered some other brand of glass files and the grit wore off, lasting only for a few files. Definitely a high quality product.

I have purchased these a couple of time. They are the perfect thickness and do a very nice job filing.

These are the best files I’ve ever tried. Worth the money that’s for sure. I always use a glass file as they seal the edges of the nails.

This is the second set of nail files I've got from this company and they are all very high quality. I've given them as gifts to others who have also liked them. They are gentle on natural nails but do file very efficiently and smoothly. My nail edges are much smoother with these files than with any others I have used. They can also be washed to keep them hygienic. I've had two of these files for two years and they are still both as good as new. These were bought so I had a file in every room in the house and no excuse to pick at any edges.
