FIRST TIME INSTALL HEATING ELEMENT BY MYSELF. VERY EASY. 2ND TIME MY HEATING ELEMENT HAS GONE OUT ON MY SAMSUNG DRYER ONLY 5 YEARS OLD. 1ST TIME CALLED REPAIRMAN AND IT COST ME 425.00. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I FOUND OUT I COULD DO IT MYSELF FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST. SOO EASY!!

I suppose that all (or most) electric clothes dryers experience heating element failure on occasion. Since I've owned a sequence of Samsung units--I can vouch for the fact that they do. I have replaced multiple heating elements in every Samsung that I've owned. In earlier times, I would normally order the bare heating element and tear everything down to the level necessary to replace it. However, some time ago I discovered this Duct Assembly unit that includes everything in the dryer element circuit already pre-wired in the duct unit. The price is reasonable and it definitely makes repair a quicker and easier process. Being able to replace the duct unit as an assembly means you only need to pull and replace the entire duct instead of having to disassemble everything to the bones. Also, just in case you've mis-diagnosed and have a failed high-limit thermal cutout instead of a burned out element, buying the entire assembly gets you all the individual new components of the drying circuit pre-wired into the unit. The price is not that much more than the bare heating element, and you save considerable time on the job. I recommend this unit.

I’m very disappointed with this purchase. I bought this dryer part in May 2025, installed it, and it worked for only a few months. On September 4, 2025, it already went out again. A part like this should last much longer, and I should not have to replace it so soon.

So I let the lint trap get too full a little too long, whoops. I burned out the heating element. At first we weren't sure. But before buying a new dryer, we decided to try to buy a new heating element. Thank goodness we did! It worked and saved us a lot of money!! Always try this if your dryers not drying! And ladies (and men lol) Don't be like me, CHECK YOUR LINT TRAPS

Fit and installed same as OEM and at a much cheaper price. Thermostat failed after 3 weeks of mostly daily use. Luckily I had saved the old thermostat switch and thermal overload out of the OEM dryer element as they tested fine. Was able to install new thermostat switch working fine again.

This replacement went in very easily. There are lots of videos on YouTube that show how you replace the heating element and the whole housing. I ordered this for my Samsung DV219AEB/XAA that stopped producing heat. The part arrived the next day. It was a matter of removing a few screws and the front panel, no need to remove the drum! Replacing the entire housing with included sensors was the best route. The dryer is running great again. I can't vouch for the longevity as yet time will tell.

We purchased this in hopes it would fix our dryer issues. The first one that came the parts on the unit are all bent - when carefully bending into place they snapped. Contacting Amazon - they refuse to refund until we send it back. No refund - just sending us a new one. Whatever - fine, I just want my dryer to work! I had someone else fix it in Feb and they charged me $500 I know what to do so I can do this all myself, I just need this piece. We get the new piece AGAIN it is slightly bent and they sent me extra oieces that do not even go with the unit - again whatever, I am dealing with it. We install was not impossible - definitely cut out the labor cost of $300 from calling someone else to do it - but, when you know what your doing it can be done. We installed it - the dryer worked. Lasted NOT EVEN A WEEK! I contacted the company for them to say let me see the part - really? It is in the unit! We take the unit apart AGAIN send them pictures so they confirm it is broke again they ask what we want to do - really three times a charm - I am NOT sending this back, I just want my money back this is NUTS. Needless to say - do not get the piece from here. Just pay MORE and do it your self. Get a warranty on the piece that comes with one OVER a year at least! Just saying especially if it is a Samsung unit .. from one Samsung Dryer owner to all of you - Have a great holiday!
