Great filtration

We are on a well that has some sediment in our water. I like how these install with not a lot of air pockets. They last a lot longer than others with no flow issues until it is time to replace the filter.

I am very pleased with the 20 Micron filter made by Membrane Solutions. I have a well, and have been getting iron contamination/sediment for some time now. I use the 20 Micron filter as the "first step" in a 3 filter "line up" to produce good, clear water. The one thing I really like about the Membrane Solutions 20 micron filter is the fact that it can be flushed, rinsed out, and reused. I do this every 3 to 4 weeks, and the results have been great. The second filter in my 3 step process is a 5 micron filter sold by Kinetico. The 20 Micron takes the brunt of the incoming sediment/iron coming from the well, making the 5 micron filter last much longer and more efficient at removing small particles. The third step in my system is a cartridge tank filter that removes particles down to two-tenths of a micron (0.2). It is an expensive filter, but like the Membrane Solutions filter, it can be flushed and rinsed. I do this every 30 days. It looks almost brand new, and my water is as clear as clear can be after it goes through the 3 filters. Following my first order, I reordered the Membrane Solutions filter (quantity 4). They work! If you have a well and need to filter sediment or iron, I recommend them without reservation.
