First I didn’t know ironing boards had become so expensive! After weeks of watching videos and reading several reviews I decided on this one. I was not disappointed. It is very sturdy and there was NO rocking or imbalance when ironing. The lowering and raising of the device is easy. Though the reviews said the padding was thick, I found it wasn’t as thick as described. It is thicker than the average padding which comes with ironing boards, but still requires more padding; at least for me personally. All in all you will not be disappointed with the purchase.

Well designed. Nice mechanism for setup and adjustment. Didn’t like iron stand. Unstable. Expected a more robust construction for the $$$.

I didn't think to check the length when I ordered this. It's a very good ironing board but much larger and heavier than my previous one. Since I am elderly and have limited use of one arm, it's difficult to set up and close. The extension at the end for the iron and to hang clothes is handy but I think it would be better if it were able to be folded down or removed when not needed.

I looked at other ironing boards for this price and they were awful. This is a solid board but again what I love about it being from Europe I am used to a particular ironing board and a particular height. I’m 5 foot six and a lot of the Iron boards here 35 inches hi, which means I’m stooping, since I ironed twice a week very particular about my clothing and My Husband’s. I got this board because it literally goes up to 52 inches in height love love love can’t beat it for the price honestly don’t waste your time looking anywhere else get this board.

After having read quite a lot of reviews, I decided on this model. The height was a huge selling point for me. Having a bad back, and doing a fair bit of ironing each week, I was looking forward to not having to hunch over the board. It raises to a beautiful height! I enjoy it fully deployed, but it can be set lower for those that don't want/need the height. I did have to put on one of my own covers due to the one it came with being super thin. Not a problem though for those that already have a decent cover at home.

Perfect height I just can’t believe it took 71 years for me to find the PERFECT ironing board No my back ache from ironing bent over!! LOVE IT ( at least as much as a person can love an ironing board🥴)

I was in the middle of ironing, the iron slipped from my grasp, fell on the board, and created a gash in the weak metal that will never be fixed like new. In order to try to keep it, I will have to solder the metal myself, because I cannot leave it as is or the entire area will break off. It will not survive frequent usage in this condition, as it already has a permanent warp. The metal top needs to be stronger and thicker. It's a waste of an ironing board when simple, in use actions can cause breakage. I'm trying to fight having to buy a new one because this one was so expensive. I'm not sure if this retailer would be willing to exchange it under warranty since it has only been a couple of months. Most of the retailers here are stringent about cutting you off at the Amazon return, rather than back their products. Pros: Tall; adjustable to a few clicks Cons: Weaker than it looks; should be just a bit more adjustable to include low, sit down ironing; should be able to handle impacts from the iron in use
