Perfect. Love them. Best decision i made.
Love these. They look amazing on the use and they sound terrific Beautiful deep rich timbre from my Kala Koa tenor. Richer than it already was. I also love the feel of the lava series. Silky smooth and really nice touch to them. Love them.

My favorite strings.
These have been and likely always will be my favorite strings. I play them on a tenor or concert sized uke. I am female with a low voice, so the mellow tone these strings lend my tenor is an amazing match for my voice. I do not recommend these on a soprano, it's just an odd tone from the tiny but mighty soprano uke.

Aquila Lava series is Da Bomb!
The low G gives my Collings Uke such a sweet, rich sound. So much nicer than standard strings. Haven't heard them on a soprano use, so have no idea how they souns there, but I'd suppose the same effect would be imposed.

4th Day & Wound Low-G Shows Wear (otherwise good sound)
I like the Low-G sound - this is the first time I've ever tried - and, admittedly, the Kayla Uke is new, so maybe it's the fret, but it does not feel rough to my tender fingers ;) I got these on a Saturday. I'm not a complete novice, but I don't play all that much. Making that little twangy G into a low-G turns it into something more like a little guitar. Plug it into an amp and you can wail. But four days, of maybe a couple hours total and you can see that shiny spot on the G. I predict it will not last much longer. Once the fret cuts through the winding, it's done. And why can't they make this string black to match the other three? Why does it have to stand out like a sore thumb? It's like, everything looks cool-black-sleek and then there's this white guy tryin' to fit in like Vanilla Ice or Gladys Kravitz with the Pips.

Wish the low G string could be black too.
If your ukulele is made of Koa wood, and Koa trees grow best in volcanic soil, Lava-colored strings seem highly appropriate.

It it the correct strings?
Product doesn't appear to be the one I bought. Description in Amazon photo and product doesn't match. Not even close. I was asked by Amazon rep to "try it out" and if it doesn't work to send it back. Will update review later.

Oh, I like these.
I'm not really a fan of Nylaguts because they're really flexible and slick, to me they feel like I'm playing rubber bands. These are stiffer and have a little more traction and the low G is wound. They sound good, I like 'em.
