I have a couch that was never cleaned for 5 years. It smelled like my brother’s two corgis. I wet vac it and changed covers, fabric sprayed and disinfectant. NOTHING. Nothing worked. It still smelled like wet dog with fabreeze. It gave me headaches and I was so close to throwing this $4k couch. For my last desperate attempt to save it, I bought this. It came in the morning and I sprayed it immediately. Left to do my errands and came back to the must being gone! It does have a bleach smell but it’s not that strong unless you shove your face close to it. It still does smell a little bit but I am certain that one or two more sprays will totally eliminate the unwanted dog smell. This is the most affordable and effective solution I have used!

This product works extremely well. I have a dog and the house smells so much fresher now. It's a little pricey so it would be nice to see it on sale.

This stuff works great, I have used many of their other odor products and never have been disappointed. The sprayer shoots a good doesn’t leave any residue and it works within seconds. I love the packaging completely sealed so no leaks during shipping. Unfortunately it does go by quick so it’s a little pricey but I like that once I spray one smells are gone for a while. I also like that the sprayer is super easy to use on and off function and the sprayer is always a fine mist doesn’t ever shoot streams not even on the first time use. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because it definitely leaves a smell it’s a clean smell but almost smells as if I would have deep cleaned either bleach. It gave me a little head ache but it fades away after a few hours to just a plane smell of nothing. Overall though this will eliminate any odor.

This truly did work. My cat keeps peeing on my shoes for some reason. I sprayed them all with this stuff and it took out the smell of the cat pee. I did have to do a few shoes twice and on one pair of shoes (the leather one) the smell did not come out after spraying multiple times. It does have a chlorine smell to it at first but seem to dissipate after a day or so.

Our cat has the stinkiest poops EVER (high protein diet), so aside from running an air purifier and cracking a window, I wanted to find an air freshener that would eliminate the smell from the air after she goes. I wanted to make sure it was pet-safe, and left no fragrance of its own. We had previously tried a “plant based” spray that worked great but unfortunately left behind a super floral perfumey odor that lingered, so next we decided to try this Zero Odor. I bought the “pet” version but honestly not sure if it’s just regular Zero Odor marketed as a different thing. ***Packaging: White plastic bottle looks like typical “bathroom cleaning product” - wouldn’t necessarily want to leave it out. No leaks in shipping. The sprayer does a jet and a mist, but the nozzle isn’t labeled, so you’ll have to spray to find out which is which (odd). The spray pattern isn’t great either - since we’re primarily using this in the air I would prefer a fine mist but it kind of comes out half stream/half mist so I’ll probably have to end up putting this in my own sprayer bottle. ***Scent: While claiming to be “fragrance free,” it does list “tracer fragrance” on the ingredients, which is meant to let you know where you’ve sprayed it and then dissipate quickly. Luckily I’m just sensitive to fragrances and not actually allergic, but if you have a fragrance allergy, I would say the marketing is a bit misleading because this certainly does contain fragrance! I sprayed into my office first to test the scent, and there’s definitely a generic perfumey “cleaning product” or “fresh clean” type of scent with a hint of chlorine when first sprayed - luckily it dissipates within 30-60 seconds or so from the air. I stepped out of the room, came back in about 30 seconds, and couldn’t smell it anymore. So at least it doesn’t linger. ***Odor elimination: The big test came when our cat did her daily Dump of Doom. After scooping I sprayed this a couple times into the closet where we keep the litter box, then 3 times into the room outside the box which usually becomes uninhabitable for about an hour while we run the air purifier. After waiting about 30 seconds I went back in and would say it reduced the smell about 50%. Not a miracle but the fact that we could be in that room without holding our noses was miraculous. So I sprayed a second round which helped more but still not 100% elimination. ***Overall: • It does eliminate odors from the air somewhat, but does take a lot of spraying to do so - about 12 sweeping sprays just for one room, and I'd say only 50-75% of the smell is eliminated • I can't speak to how well this removes odor from surfaces (like fabric) but I have to assume it does a better job there than in the air; as an air freshener, it doesn't seem to do the job well • DOES contain “tracer fragrance” but luckily it dissipates pretty quickly and doesn’t linger • Sprayer isn’t great; if you use this often, I’d probably buy the gallon-size refill and get a nicer bottle with a fine mist sprayer I'll probably be returning this - 12+ sprays just to eliminate the odor about 50% just isn't worth it for our purposes - it doesn't make me feel confident enough to have guests over if our cat dropped a bomb in their presence! So I'll be trying something else. Can't speak for how it works on surfaces, though.

It is a rare occasion that I write a review but I was so impressed with this product I took the time to do so. I have had a dirty dog smell in a smaller living area in our home. I tried everything, short of having the carpet (which is newer), professionally cleaned. I did not expect much from “Zero-Pet Odor Eliminator”. Lightly sprayed the carpet and air, let it settle and sprayed lightly a second time, you don’t need to saturate. I have not smelled dirty dog since! It does smell a bit like bleach when first sprayed but it dissipated very quickly. No sticky residue left on carpet. This product is a win and an essential if you have pets. It’s worth every penny, you will NOT be disappointed!

I warn you. This has a smell. You will not be able to stomach the smell. It will be so foul, and smell of a certain bodily fluid. I will leave it at that. Maybe if you’ve smelled this, you know what I’m talking about. So unless you want your couches, rugs, pet beds, clothes or car to smell… like that… I implore you to take this out of your cart right now. Right now. I spent hours washing and drying my couch cushion covers and using the upholstery shampooer on what couldn’t go in the washer and dryer to get rid of this smell. What you think will be a short cut to a perfectly deodorized home, will leave you fighting for your life. I woke up the following morning with the worst migraine I’ve had in a long time and knew exactly why. Whatever is in this bottle is not okay. It must never be sprayed. Please, do not do this to yourself. Just enjoy the dog smell. I promise that you’ll miss it after you spray this fish mist.

I had tried everything to get rid of the smell of cat pee from inside a wardrobe, including vinegar which usually works, but not this time. I then bought the Zero Pet Odor Eliminator and it worked like a dream. One application and the smell was gone.

I decided to purchase this on a whim based on a random review I had seen online, and I cannot believe how well it works! Definitely the best odour eliminator I have ever used for anything. Backstory: I bought a pair of Air Jordan 3s from Poshmark, and they were in perfect condition except for the disgusting smell of cat urine on them. I have a feeling they were being stored in an area or box where there was cat pee nearby. Anyway, the urine smell basically soaked everything on the shoe. The insoles, the rubber soles, laces, etc, you name it! I was extremely frustrated because I had paid quite a bit for these shoes and they were hard to find. I tried cleaning them with various shoe cleaners, let them air outside, Febreezed them, and also tried a random pet odour enzyme eliminator from Petsmart. Nothing worked!! I was pretty upset and ready to toss them out. However, as luck would have it, I stumbled upon a random review of this Zero Odor Pet Odor Eliminator spray, and I figured why not? I also have a dog at home so if it didn't work it wouldn't be completely wasted. The only thing I could find was that it might leave a faint bleach smell afterwards (better than cat urine!). I soaked the whole shoe with this cleaner. Shoes were suede so there was a concern about color distortion but there were no issues with it. Anyway, this spray did the trick! I could not believe it. There was still a faint smell of bleach, probably because I sprayed so much of it on the shoe, but now I can wear them without feeling self conscious about smelling like cat pee (and I don't even own a cat). Anyway, this spray WORKS! Thank you for saving my Air Jordans from the trash bin!

I don’t usually write reviews but felt this product was so good I must. We had an issue with cat urine on our sofa after she got shut in the lounge. Having resorted previously to throwing a perfectly good sofa away due to not being able to get rid of the smell, I thought I would try this and I cannot recommend it enough. The smell of the cat urine was much reduced with one application and has completely gone with a second. It has also got rid of the pungent smell of some other treatment I tried first. It has left a slightly chorine/ bleach smell which is very light and just smells ‘clean’ and can only be smelt close up. There is no staining or marking of the sofa fabric. I had not realised when I bought this that it is a refill for the smaller spray version and so I decanted some into an empty rinsed out spray bottle from another kitchen cleaner which I labelled. Overall I would highly recommend this and although it is a little expensive it is worth the money as my alternate was going to be a new sofa! Had I realised I could have got away with the smaller spray bottle, but I will use this for items such as shoes.

This a excellent stuff and really really eliminates pet odour. It's expensive but worth the money. When my cat was terminally ill and unable to move around and urinated on my sofa cushions, this spray removed all smell. Best on market in my opinion.

Es un producto fantástico, puedo decir que salvó mi sofá nuevo. Al principio huele como a desinfectante, pero desde el minuto 1 elimina los olores no deseados y después, el olor a desinfectante va desapareciendo poco a poco. En mi caso no era fácil, puesto que el olor era a orina de gato, que no es nada fácil de eliminar, eché otros productos pero camuflaban el olor y al poco volvía a oler a pis de gato. Sin embargo, este producto fue como milagroso desde la primera aplicación. Sin duda es caro, en mi caso tuve bastantes dudas sobre si comprarlo, pero vistos los resultados, lo volvería a comprar sin duda.
