Tastes like the real thing and no artificial colors
Was looking all over for an option with no artificial coloring! It is fine in texture and came out of my metal strainer, I used a nut milk bag to strain it instead. If you look up tutorials on how to make Thai tea and apply it to this it’ll taste like the real thing. I also add vanilla extract to mine because I like a very strong vanilla flavor. Comes out a very cute light pink color when you add the sweetened condensed milk

Tastes wonderful
This is my second order of this tea from this company. I love it, I use it in a type of Brew cup where I put a few spoonfuls in and add my hot water and let it Brew. I then drain that into my teacup, ADD cream and sometimes a little honey. It tastes like a beautiful Thai tea. It is Pink. The only thing I don't like is how fast I go through a bag of this tea. I drink it everyday I usually start my morning out with it and I get two or three weeks to a bag. It's a nice tea and it tastes really sweet without actually being sweet in sugar. I'll continue ordering.

Gorgeous + Delicious
I see some comments about the loose leaf tea seeming a bit powdery BUT this is how traditional thai tea is supposed to be! Thai tea is supposed to be brewed like espresso or more traditionally cooked down in a pot and using cloth to strain. If the flavor is not coming out of the tea, its likely because you are brewing it like normal tea :) I chose to make this with a Moka Pot (I don't have an espresso machine) and it came out a beautiful dark red color. I added 1 tbs of honey, some sweetened condensed milk, and some normal milk and it turned a pretty baby pink. Tastes good! Over time the flavor does seem to change a bit, I'd say after like 10 minutes, however to me this flavor is floral and similar to strawberry. Not beet-like in any way.

Better than I expected
I was expecting a delicate, floral tasting tea but this tasted a little more like lightly flavored herbal Thai tea with a faint dash of vanilla extract. It's actually not bad! The color wasn't as red as shown on the bag, but I honestly don't care about that (I bought this specifically because there's way too much artificial color in other tea brands). I use 5 and 1/2 to 7 teaspoons for a 16 oz. Mason jar filled with boiling water, then I steep for 2 hours because I like when my tea tastes strong enough to bite me back. Then I after I reheat it in the microwave, I add as much sweetened condensed milk as I like (usually like 3 to 4 tablespoons), or evaporated milk with stevia if I don't want to ingest sugar. Over all, it's fun to brew and good to drink.

Strong Vanilla Note and NOT Red
First and foremost, the picture on the Amazon page shows a vibrant beet root red/pink milk. This is not the case. In fact, it looks like a weaker color of your typical Thai tea. The flavor is strong vanilla with dull after taste of a soft note black tea. The tea is way too fine for a metal tea ball, half of the tea falls through it so get a paper teabag holder for this loose leaf tea. Overall, it's meh... I bought it for the color and it fell drastically short. I will seek other Thai teas at this point.

False advertisement
The tea had no color is one thing. After the brew, it smelled like Chinese herbal medicine/very bitter soil smell. If you are reading this and think I am exagerrating, well sorry, but I wish I was. It does not benefit me or cost me anything to tell the truth. Anyway, forget smell, now the taste... are you kidding me? I put condensed milk and some sugar.. now it actually taste like sweetened Chinese herbal medication. I don't know about others and their pictures were showing pinkish drink and claiming that it tasted like the ones in the restaurant, I beg to differ! How in any way does it look or seem like what other say??? Thanks for the deceit, fellow 'verified purchase reviewers'. The color was brownish white after condense milk mixed in. It looked like soil milk tea.... Like I said, I did not exaggerate one bit. Wasted money and cannot get refund. It sucked. I gave it to someone else and they said it was awful. I guess the only good thing is no strange orange color, but who am I kidding? They claim a lot of things which turn out to be false, what if they claim organic when it isn't???
