1. Easy to use2. Use in the shade in the AM or PM when the weather is cooler.3. Wash the car, leave wet and then use a fresh bucket of car soap and water with a fresh wash mitt and apply to each panel and follow with the Clay Pad.4. Dry each panel after completing this step.5. Paint correct if you need to (I did not need to).6. Wipe the surfaces with a solution of 20% Isopropyl alcohol.7. Apply your favorite Ceramic Coating or Wax (your preference).8. Enjoy your results.

So I consider myself a pretty average person and the glove size is too small. What ends up happening is the surface curves because you can't put your hand completely flat which means you end up losing claying surface which will mean tasks will take longer. I comfortably where large size nitrile and motorcycle gloves and I can fit a medium if I have to.

Easily clayed the whole car in a few minutes. I was super skeptical when I bought this... I thought it would do a mediocre job that maybe would just barely suffice between traditional claying sessions, but I was mistaken. This made the whole process really easy and fast.After washing the car, I kept it wet and just worked the rubbery side of the mitt over each panel, rinsing the mitt frequently as the instructions indicated. With just a bit of water, it slid very easily over the surface. I had the whole car done in less time than it takes to towel dry the car, and the results were really impressive. I would say I achieved about 95% of what a regular clay bar could do, and I only did one pass on each panel.Hopefully it continues to impress with future use.UPDATE - 4/10 - So today was the first nice day of the spring and I decided to hand wash the car, and use the mitt again. After washing and using the mitt, as the sun went down, I noticed a ton of swirl marks in the same patterns as where I used the mitt. I did wash it after each panel, but maybe there's some dirt that got ingrained into the surface after the mitt sat in the basement all winter. Who knows. Not thrilled right now. Removed 2 stars.

It works well on newer cars with relatively new clear coats and lightoxidation, older and more damaged clear coats must be rubbed with compound before using this clay mitt ro get a uniform smooth surface, As a professional auto detailer I recommend it 100% Do not use in hot surfaces.

I rinsed it out with fresh water after using and hung up to dry, then my second use it was very gummy and the clay was coming off on my truck, I used extra soap and it still came off like gum. Very sad for this money I spent on this glove, which promised at least 20-30 use’s.

Just make sure the surface doesn't run dry of water.With that aside, works as promised.Takes no extra time to over my jeeps when wet, before drying off. The clay part of the mitt does lift the grimyness off that a wash doesn't.Just need to take car with having the surface wet. If not , the clay transfers to the paint. With a bit of elbow grease you can get it off with the pad itself or a tar, sap, bird splat remover.

by far this has been the best service from an auto detailing seller!!! Other high end popular seller that are known don't respond to you because they feel that they dont need you. This seller although takes the time to see your needs. By the way the clay mitt is also flawless excellent job. the only thing you need to do after claying is apply was or a sealent makes it super slick and shiny !

I bought this because my black Mercedes has a light dusting of white overspray on it, and was also covered in fly spots. I was skeptical about this product working, but spurred on by the good reviews I decided to give it a try. It took the overspray and fly spots out with relative ease, to my amazement. I will say that with this being the "heavy duty" mitt it did leave somewhat hazy finish, so I had to give it a quick polish. The haze came out extremely easily, however, and since this is indeed marked as being the coarse variety, I can't count it against them. But probably get yourself the lighter duty one if you don't have big paint issues like I did. This product really works!
