Great for stubborn stains!
This works really well! I purchased this for one on my favorite shirts that got stubborn ketchup and mustard stains on it that biz couldn’t get out. The stains are no longer there. I’m glad my favorite shirt got spared from being thrown out. Everyone needs a box of this in their home. You can even soak your garments with this in a bucket before washing and that works well too. Great for stubborn stains oxyclean cannot get out. Or stubborn stains that persist after several washes. Highly recommend would purchase again!

AMAZING for cleaning difficult stains off TERRAZZO or STONE floors or counter tops.
This product is a miracle. I have old Terrazzo floors (very similar to marble) that pick up stains from any kind of acidic liquid that gets dropped on them. If I drop tomato sauce, lemonade, citrus or even wine on the floors it leads to an instant stain. I've tried everything including paying a floor refinishing company $1000 to remove the stains, but within a year there were more stains again. The refinishers would not tell me what product they were using. Well, after some research and trying everything including a highly toxic graffiti remover I decided to try the Clorox 2 Stain Fighter as one of the main ingredients is supposed to work wonders on stains on stone countertops. Well this stuff is truly magic. Sprinkle a small amount on top of the stain. Then mix in some water until you have formed a paste and let it sit for 5 minutes while making sure that it remains wet. The powder heats up the minute you add water as it appears to be have a chemical reaction when wet. I then take a sponge and start wiping in circles on top of the paste, the granules in the Clorox also act as an exfoliant. Presto, the stain is gone! I've also tried spraying some Windex onto the granules of Clorox, and since this is not a chlorine based bleach there is NO toxic chemical reaction, in fact it seems to help the process move along a bit quicker. This has an amazing ability to lift stains from hard surfaces unlike anything I've ever tried before. I even tried it on my walls and it worked like a charm as well. I can't recommend this product highly enough for this purpose and by the way it does do an excellent job on clothing too!!!

Almost waste/pastic free!
Dear Clorox and Consumers, I wish to have a deep conversation about this product here, "Clorox 2, for Colors". Just walk with me for a bit... I am a veterinarian. I have requirements for sanitization and sterilization. Clorox undoubtedly is the leading producer in the required cleaning agents for my clinic, home, and clothes. Clorox 2 is a necessity for the treatment of my clothes, especially my scrubs without ruining them bleach. You see at the same time, I am haunted and angst by the endless churning out of waste and plastic our civilized society creates, hourly if one can be certain. This stuff although useful and cost effective... actually ends up being an expensive price we will be paying as the Earth cannot decompose it, and we fail to actually "recycle" it. Let us recall a time when there was less dependency on single-use plastic, it actually was not long ago, maybe the 1930's? What did the Earth look like then? I suspect the albatross parents were not accidentally feeing their young plastic foreign bodies, mistakenly as food, killing off their future. Over the last 2 years, I have payed close attention to my own plastic use, specifically single-use. Attempting to change my consumer habits. It has become clear to me that consumerism/capitalism is a double edge sword, a powerful/destructive one... only if we choose the yield it as such. The way one buys, can actually me more effective than the way one votes. I stopped placing my single-use plastics in the "recycle" bin, because it just seems like a farce and ineffective. Instead I have invested in replacing many items; shampoo, bottled water, tooth paste, detergents, etc., with "waste-free" products. I realized that there are some that are just... "unavoidable". This includes Clorox 2 and the wipes. I started saving the empty containers of the unavoidables in my garage, unsure of what to do with them... but I pledge that they will not enter the ocean and into our bloodstreams. You can see that these in the photo the right... great quality single-use plastic... with no use. Until I found Clorox 2 in a boxed powder form on Amazon. Why this product is not available in stores is beyond me. The formulation is almost waste free. There is still a small bit of cellophane packaging around, but pleased to find that there is no bag holding the powder. What to do with the cellophane is now the question, but you see how much less plastic is remaining compared to the jug containers. I ask this of Clorox Corporation... we are almost there, with an acceptable alternative for sustainability... but can we take it one to two more steps further? Maybe allow this product to be more widely available down the street, and anything other ideas besides the cellophane? I ask the consumer... just start understanding that sustainability is an attitude. Overall, cost-effectiveness and profitability will eventually become sustainability. Sincerely, Stacey
