Works well for my dog. The straps make it very easy to drape over the car seat and provides protection by having a safety strap inside that you can connect to the dogs harness. He can watch out the window easily. Very good quality and has breathable mesh. I was a bit concerned about the "plush lining" making my dog overheat, but this mesh helps prevent that. This is rated for dogs up to 15 lbs. My now 8-month-old pup is now 12 lbs so I hope he doesn't get much bigger! When installing the seat, you just have to be sure that you have the seat-back in full straight-up position (all the way forward), otherwise the dog won't be able to see out the window and the car seat won't hang correctly.

We just bought a 2020 Promaster 2500 high roof to convert. I went from a Jetta to this big, beautiful beast. I needed a safe and comfy place for my baby girl while we drove. I measured the space between the front seats and there was a little lip there. 16 1/2 inches. I saw this was 16 1/2 inches wide and said hmmmmm...... Well, when I say perfect, I mean PERFECT. It fits perfectly snug in between and rests on the little lip on the side of each seat. It's not budging, unless I want it to. I also took the strap that is supposed to go around the seat and ran it down through the seat frame and snapped it to the same thing on the other side. PERFECT! It's not going anywhere. It seems to be a great size for my 15 pound Havanese. She doesn't mind it and she's strapped in by her harness. I was concerned about the bottom bending and buckling, with her weight, but it is very sturdy. I'm sure it'll give in eventually, but that'll be a while. Great job on this item, y'all. Thanks!

Love this small dog car seat EVER! Had this for almost 2YEARS! BEST PART THE VENTED FRONT for AC and for Rhythm to see thru though she prefers to sit to see over. The pad thay comes with the car seat isn't thick enough or cool enough so I added a cooling blanket for her. It comes with an inside strap with lobster pull back hook for security. I do wish the strap that goes around the headrest could be shorter to hold up but I just tighten the seat strap more to keep in place. I would buy this over and over....easy to vacuum clean and to take out I just turn it around to back seat. easy PEASY! Omg SHE LOVES IT AND ME TOO!! 😍🥰🐶

We needed a place to secure our Chihuahua while in the car, and this was perfect. It installs in minutes and has held up well for more than a year now. He is small so he likes being able to see outside while riding. You can connect a harness to it so your dog is going to stay in it in an emergency. Don't ever use a collar, as you could injure your pet.

I loved the look and feel of this seat but there is not clip to attach to the dog so he/she doesn’t fly out! Every time you step on the breaks the dog almost falls out. Still very dangerous. I had to look for a clip to attach to my dog separately. Most dog seats come with ut but this one doesn’t so beware

This is such a great booster seat! We had another one before this, but this one is much better - the size is perfect and my little guy can lie down in it. The quality is also great!
