Resilient sound sucks
I wouldn't ever order these speakers ever again have been fighting with them for a replacement for a while my package got stolen off my porch and they won't do nothing about it so I took a $200 loss and went out about a sundown one and they wanted when they ship it they don't blame it on the deliveries people like resilient sound

Rms is over rated
They sound good but I don’t think the meet there rms power rating of a 1000 watts rms there more like 800 rms my 1500 watt stinger amp is too much for the two subs I have.

1k rms ? Not in my experience
In my experience they don’t handle 1k rms . They will slowly start clipping and falling apart missing glue around the dust cap. For some reason even turning the amp down to baby them, they still bottom out on low notes.

Beware
Bought 4 gold 8 dual2s in November 2023, only had them for about 4-5 months and that happened. Moreover when the seakers arrived, I informed them that the terminals were lose and they said that it shouldn't be. Is it me or should they have offered to fix the subs then? Of course, when I reached out to the warranty department they said it was My fault and that this wasn't covered under warranty. Then offered me the back stock items at the discounted price. This is my 1st time ever seeing this from a sub and I have had and got plenty of them. My question is what did I do? I wasn't giving them rated power and had a box built to specs. Another question why did it just happen to two of the speakers in the same box on one amp for all 4 subs? Not to down the sound of the sub, because it sounded very nice when they were playing at underrated power, however they didnt last long. Well needless to say, they have lost my business and I've been in the car audio game for 30 yrs. Oh I forgot to mention that one of the subs quit and none are stiff.

Clipping did that to your subs.
Your amp clipped causing your leads and reformer to over heat, causing your ohms to drastically change, causing 1 speaker to blow and seize up. It happens alot.
