Carry Me (Babies Everywhere)

This is a simple book, but we love it. It is small enough so that my son has been able to hold it, open it and go through the pages from at least 5 months old and on. At a year old now he loves looking at the bright colors on the pages, and all the babies. It is a great way to show little ones how other babies are carried throughout the world. There are pictures of moms, dads, and grandparents carrying babies; in slings, wraps, hiking packs, front carriers, and baskets; from countries all over the world. Small enough to throw in the diaper bag for out and about. I wouldn't consider it present worthy by itself, but you could combine it with a couple other books in the series, such as Global Babies and American Babies, and it would make a great gift!

I love this book! Whenever a baby is born amongst family or friends I give this book. The children like the baby photographs. My young granddaughter selects to read the book daily.

Little ones are fascinated seeing other babies and parents and different carrying methods.

Our family wears our youngsters everywhere for their first year at least, and when I saw this book it was instant love. The pictures are so sweet--babies and mommies and daddies from different parts of the world. The text is very simple and after a few hundred readings even my 20 month old has it memorized. Sturdy board book so it holds up to toddler abuse.

A third of the book showed American parents, the other third were Chinese and the rest were from different cultures. I wanted to buy a book which displays different folk costumes and cultures but this book is not that. So if you look for something like that then don't buy this one and keep looking. Still a cute book, we will keep it.

My young child (9 mo old) loves looking at this book, well, all of the Global Babies books actually. I agree with the other reviewers in that they need to update this one with safe carries only and remove the forward-facing pictures.

This is my favorite book for babies! Babies love looking at the pictures of other babies, and the book is full of love and diversity. Great way for an early introduction to other cultures.
