You get a good amount of ink for the money and the bottle is easy to pour from. Like all sumi ink it has a bit of a smell to it, but it’s not overpowering. The ink is smooth and dark, it can be used right out of the bottle or diluted with water for shades of grey. I think it’s good value if you’re looking for a decent, easy to use ink for practicing calligraphy or ink drawing.

This ink works well and is the perfect size for my bag when I do my painting beyond home.

Good ink for writing. It has a smell. Kinda like an old lady’s perfume. It’s a musk and ceeder or pine. Large amounts can overwhelm those with sensitive noses

Very easy to work with and provides a nice medium to work with. Great for calligraphy or artwork. Fun to use.
