Excellent customer service. Extremely rare on such a small device. I had a problem, emailed the provided service email and received thorough and prompt responses. This is also the only one of these 4-channel sender-receiver units I've found on Amazon that comes with labeled connections and clear instructions.

It surprisingly hard to find a small 2-channel transmitter and receiver kit that transmits in 2.4GHz - nearly everything else on the market is 27Mhz or 49MHz. In fact, this is the ONLY kit like it that I can find on Amazon, eBay, and anywhere else (except the pica toys website!). Product is simple, and works great. If you want to build a small DIY remote control car, this is what you want. I will say my first purchase of this kit did not go great. When completing my project, the receiver, which was working moments before, suddenly turned off and refused to turn on no matter what I tried. I think I may have accidentally shorted the antenna to the negative terminal of the battery and fried it (so, do not do that). My second unit has been working perfectly!

it does not spsefy what amps it uses but other than that worked great

Sends the same voltage down to the motor but it dramatically limits the amps, which makes it a slow starting vehicle.

This is a nice very simple remote. The 4 buttons will cause a logic high on the receiver wires. I walked to the mail box - 100ft and basement and it was still working, so it has pretty good range for a 2.4Ghz product. I wished it had a simple housing for the transmitter. I am using an H-bridge circuit to control DC motors with this since I wanted both forward and reverse.
