Works very well, shaves ice very efficiently. I use ice cubes from my freezer, they are perfect for this Machine. Fun to use.There is a separate resovoir to store the water from the melting ice. There is an automatic feature, or you can shave more ice manually.

The Margaritaville Key West Frozen Concoction Maker is not a "blender." It is an awesome party-drink expert! I purchased to frozen drink maker for a party and it was a huge hit. We were able to make margaritas, frozen sangrias, C'Old Fashions, and anything we could imagine.. It was fun, easy, and fast. Pro: Perfectly blended --no large chunks of ice Pro: Easy to Use -- our guests were able to make their own concoctions without us having to explain or manage Pro: Easy to clean! There is potential to cut yourself on the blade...but if you read the directions on cleaning, you will know what to avoid or where to pay close attention. Con: Very large unit (however...it is large to accommodate many people wanting delicious beverages).

This thing makes superb frozen cocktails...too bad some are the parts are poorly designed or just too flimsy. I broke the collar on the blender jar...now it cannot be tightened and leaks fluid out of the bottom. UPDATE: Not long after posting a disappointing review, I finally got in touch with customer service and they sent me a brand new unit....have used it a lot...and I love it....makes absolutely excellent frozen cocktails....makes frappuccinos as good as Starbucks and my kids love Hawaiian Shave Ice....which are also pretty good with a shot of rum down the middle...I have had no more trouble with this machine....it's easy to use and easy to clean....Love it.....just be careful with the ring on the bottom of the pitcher.... Would be a simple fix, if Margaritaville provided any customer service at all. But they don't. It is shameful for an item expensive as this to be intended to be disposable because of lack of customer support. It seems impossible that these can be so highly rated given the complete absence of customer service.

Buy this now! This was by far the best purchase I made this summer and I’m a shopper. I love love love the texture that this makes frozen drinks, it’s the most smoothest almost milk shake consistency drink maker I have ever had! We have enjoyed many adult swim days with frozen drinks, sooo perfect. Followed the directions for making drinks and they were super good, careful they sneak up on you 😎. Super easy to use and clean, not outrageously loud ~ although even if it was that would not stop me from using this~ I’m telling you this is awesome. We had 4 adults just staring at the machine in awww as it made our very first drinks! I made 4 adult drinks from one pitcher on the max setting, which was perfect size to drink in appropriate amount of time without melting while lounging in the pool. Worth every penny! By far my best purchase in a longgg time Seriously if you are debating whether to buy this and need a sign to go ahead, this is your sign 😁. BTW, the kids enjoyed non alcoholic drinks as well, but I did not purchase this for them.

Shaves ice quickly and professionally! The shaved ice is smooth, not crunchy and rocky. There is a margarita drink recipe in the directions and of course you can make anything you want - daiquiris, different flavoured drinks, pubs coladas etc. the machine shaves the appropriate amount for the recipe and then automatically blends for the appropriate time and then stops when finished. Very good quality

I generally do not write product reviews. The product needs to be really horrible or really amazing in order for me to be moved to write a review. The Margaritaville drink mixer falls in the latter of the two categories. This little “frozen heaven delivery system” is way beyond my expectations. Extremely well made and of really good quality. It cranks out frozen drinks at high speed and is only limited by your imagination. Our Margaritaville arrived on a Thursday and we used it through the weekend mixing up our first batch of rum and golden pear creamsicles at 11:00 am Sunday morning…. As someone very famous recently said “Isn’t Happy Hour Anytime?” Do not hesitate to spend the money on this amazing machine.

I bought this for a gift for my daughter in law. they used it three times and there is a plastic part on the bottom that has cracked and now they cannot use it. when she uses it it leaks all over. What is she to do now with the machine?

It works great but giving it 4 stars just because it didn’t come with a lid for the jug, and instead of sending me the lid I would have to return the entire box. Also wish it came with a travel bag
