I don't like working with gelatin so opted for agar agar to make gummies and this worked perfectly for me. (Takes a few trials/recipes to find what measurements will give you the texture you're looking for. This will not give you the grocery store gummy texture but makes for a safer gummy if giving to little ones.)

I seen the TikTok rave of this Crystal candy thought I would give it a try and I am glad I did. I looked up a great you tube video that was easy to follow and made my own candy! so worth it!

I used this as thickener in "green tomato jam" it was easier to use and worked just like gelatin! It's a nice alternative for those avoiding animal products!

I used it for some vegan cheese recipes. Once boiled, I add it to the mixture. The agar works and my cheese is solid-like. I wish I could get more info on the sourcing- it is source in China, it says on the bottle.

This was my first time using this. I am not Vegan but understand that this product is - if that's a thing for you. Box checked. I used it to make vegan panacotta with coconut milk. Result was perfect!

I was trying to make a vegan jello mold for Christmas. It thickened but not enough to hold the jello mold add-ins. Would be fine for pudding or jams.
