Ibanez GIO Series GRX40-MLB - Full Size Electric Guitar - Metallic Light Blue

This isn't my first guitar, but I wanted to try a strat style guitar without spending much money to see if I'd like the feel of it. I've only played this about 8 hours so take this as a first impressions and I'm not an expert guitarist. I got the green. It's slightly darker than the picture with a slight sparkle to it. Frets were almost perfect on the edges with no sharpness like you'd expect on a cheap guitar and the guitar came with no defects except a very small nick in the pick guard around one of the edges that I never notice in normal use. The neck is nice and smooth and makes chord changes easy. It stays in tune fairly well unless you use the tremolo system a lot, you'll probably have to tune it a few times the first few days from normal use as the new strings stretch. You get the tremolo bar with the guitar. The humbucker is a bit bright if you leave the tone at maximum, but add gain and lower the tone and it sounds a lot darker (better) and rockier. The single coils sound good clean. All the pickups work find out of the box. Looks good, plays good and sounds good for the money. Great start point if you're worried about spending a lot of money on learning guitar if you're not sure you'll stick with it.

This is a great sounding guitar tuning is great comfort very nice the sturdiness is fantastic the colour great the name is ibinez so you know that the sound is tops well worth the money it's the best one I've ever had you will never look back

I'm not an expert or anything on guitars so I may be oblivious to stuff that others may critique, but I have been playing for 4 months prior to getting this guitar, and I decided this could be my first Stratocaster. I've paired it with a Vox Pathfinder 10 Amp and it sounds great, very powerful especially with the humbucker. Aditionally it looks and plays fantastically and there isn't anything I can critique it for. I listen to bands like Oasis, Green Day, Crush 40 etc and this guitar is perfect to try and replicate that tone and playing style.

Bought this for my son as a gift. He was very happy after unboxing it for the first time. The guitar looked very good and helped him to learn new songs and riffs due to him being a beginner guitarist. The guitar was sent in good condition, being almost perfectly set up except for the dry fret board which was no big deal. Held up really well till my son told me that the saddles had indents in them which was predictable but was still impressive because the saddles didnt have indents in them until around 1 and a half years later. Overall a very good guitar for the price

Disappointed that the item arrived like this today in what looked like a box that had been pre-opened. This was bought for a birthday present tomorrow

The guitar was in a range of colours and the pale green that I chose was with great appeal. The guitar is well made and finished and is a pleasure to play.

The guitar was OK but the box was not sealed and the box was damaged, I'm surprised the guitar was in one piece

Schöner, klarer Klang und wunderschön in metallic blau. Sie hat ein durchaus wertiges Aussehen. Die Gitarre wurde von Music-Store-Mitarbeitern kurz vor dem Verschicken auf Bespielbarkeit und Elektronik geprüft. Auch wurde scheinbar eine Sichtkontrolle durchgeführt. (Dokument kam dazu) Dies ist absolut nicht selbstverständlich und ist ein Zeichen für Qualität & Zuverlässigkeit. Sie kam auch schon fast komplett gestimmt an, denn ich musste nur wenig nachstimmen. Konnte kein oder kaum merkliches Schnarren beim Spielen festellen. Elektrik funktioniert. Alles top. Der Versand dauerte ca. 3 Tage (Prime-Versand). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut klasse. Fast schon Fabelhaft. Ich bin sehr glücklich mit meiner Ibanez GRX40 :) Kann sie wärmstens empfehlen.

Per quello che costa, mi sembra un ottimo prodotto. La chitarra è arrivata oggi, ed è già pronta per essere suonata. Non credo abbia bisogno di un set up, non so se sia stata ibanez o il negozio che l'ha spedita, ma è già pronta di suo. La chitarra è arrivata con delle quasi impercettibili imperfezioni, per esempio il battipenna è leggermente alzato in un piccolo punto vicino al manico, ma si parla di un millimetro. È una cosa che da fastidio a me, ma nessuno se ne accorgerebbe. Più avanti aggiornerò la recensione e vi dirò se l'accordatura tiene bene. La chitarra esteticamente è molto bella da vedere, è anche un oggetto di design, sebbene sarebbe meglio tenerla nella custodia. Ringrazio i venditori!

Also ich spiele seit über 30 Jahren Gitarre im Semi Bereich, und lese In anderen Rezessionen das währe eine Anfänger Gitarre ? Das ist Blödsinn, ich spiele Sie sowohl im Proberaum als auch auf Gigs ! Fakt ist Es ist einfach eine sehr schöne und auch sehr gute Gitarre die man so wie Sie ist sofort spielen kann ! 5 Sterne und immer gern wieder.
