HWK Motorcycle Leather Chaps for Men and Women, Black Motorcycle Chaps for Road Rash Protection and All-Weather Comfort

Needed new chaps and I thought I would try these. Never had H. W. K. Brand before, but for that kind of price I'll take a chance. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. They fit great, They have a heavy zipper on the either side of the leg and there's ample belt room. I normally wear size 38 jeans. And I ordered these in size 40. I might be Husky, but not overly obese and the fit is fine. When I'm sitting down on the bike or in a chair, they're loose enough around my thighs and calves that they don't bind and stress the zippers. Wore them for the first time early this morning and I'm more than happy.

I like this company (HWK). I have an HWK textile armoured jacket and matching armoured pants. They are both great values for the money. They fit properly, stand up to regular use and provide a reasonable amount of protection. The jacket looks sharp too - I get a lot of compliments. So I'm not surprised the chaps are an equally great buy. The pants are zippered but I just pull them on over my jeans. The photos show the chap belt sitting outside a regular belt but I pulled mine up over my pants and cinched it up four notches - meaning the sizing is very good. I'm 5'8" 160 lbs and the size 32 is perfect. The chaps are long but that works as I wear an inseam of 34 inches (actual size: 32) for riding motorbikes. Floodpants are not great for warmth or protection so the length is good. I really came away very satisfied with all three HWK purchases. You can't beat the price or quality. Ride safe!

These are nice and thick leather and the inside are comfortable. Only downside is the leather strings in the back are not practical. I replaced them with higher quality leather strings. And a little advance let them air out for a couple of days they really smell bad…

Fit is good, quality seems very good also. Price is very hard to beat. Have purchased HWK products before and they are good quality and very fair price.

I originally assumed I might need a size 34 but thought of accommodating the extra space for my jeans so I ordered size 38 and 36. The material on them both was a thin broadly leather, and they were the same exact size in width (I measured them) but the length on the 38s were about 4”s longer! I returned the 38s, held on to the 36s bc the width fit but was a tad baggy. And although I didn’t like the material, I did like the style and thought that’s just how the material was. So now I ordered a size 34, figuring I’d keep whichever pair fit best of the 36 and 34s. The 34s came and also were the same exact width of the 38s and 36s! I was going to keep that pair though bc although they were the same size as the 36s I still had, I loved the material! The leather was very thick and soft full grain, a completely different leather than the first two pair. Then… I noticed the leg was missing its zipper and belt buckle loop. I returned them and now ordered a size 32 and 30, still attempting to get the right size… Welp the 32s came today. The leather is discolored in patches and pant legs are cut drastically uneven :-/. Not to mention, the size 32 are extremely too small! The sizes (34, 36, and 38) were all the same size and a bit large for me and now these are for someone skinny lol. I can’t win! The size 30s didn’t come yet but at this point, I’m throwing in the towel and sending them all back.

construction is not very sturdy. thighs are a bit tight if your on the more "hefty side" the belt is thin, and i lost several grommits in the first few rides, had to buy new ones and replace. for the price they are servicable. i will say they are more water resistant then the ones my wife got and paid more for.

Oddly enough, I did not buy these for a motorcycle rider, but for a construction worker that works with concrete. The lime in concrete eats through their clothing...and gets on their skin and burns them... so they wear these to protect their skin and clothing. I have bought several of them and will continue to do so. They were very pleased with the fit, the thickness of the leather and the durability.

Nice , they fit him a little loose but it should still beable to wear with clothing 😉

Better than advertised. Great fit, makes cool weather comfortable. If I had one request, offer with shorter inseams, for my short legs

I really like these chaps for the cooler mornings, They fit as expected and are reasonably comfortable. I found them a bit stiff, but a treatment of leather honey made a big difference. I was prepared to give them 5 stars, but I noticed this morning that the stitching has come undone at the belt. The only thing holding the belt on is the rivet. I will need to get these re sewn to keep the belt from pulling off. But for the money I spent, they are not bad if I can fix them since I am past returning them. I will probably purchase a more expensive set next time.

I was not sure about quality when I ordered this product. I seen chaps going for 200$ thought these would be cheep quality. But but they were not for 40$ these are amazing great product good leather great quality all you need on a bike. Amazing product well priced super happy with these. If you looking for chaps these will do exactly what the rest do for 40$
