Very welcoming single malt
Very good single malt. Lovely to drink . The first impressions of the aroma are of fruit, caramel and almond. This invites you to take a sip which I always try neat and there is no discomfort from the 46.3% ABV. A lovely vanilla and toast flavour backed up with creamy caramel. This unpeated whisky is very smooth and moreish giving more subtle flavour combinations as your mouth gets used to it. Will now be a regular on my shelf. Definitely in my top ten. Do try.

quality Island Whisky
I'm not sure how to describe this one. At first taste, it seemed sharp and salty, but got sweeter as I got used to it, and it is now a favourite. No peat, no smoke, no sherry - just a pure quality Island Whisky that grows on you...

Smooth, lovely drop, good price !
A friend went to Sotland & bought back a taster bottle for me, so nice I had to buy a bottle, very smooth, lovely lasting flavour!

Taste is very subjective, BUT…
Absolutely top-notch maritime whisky - expensive, obviously, but the best, I think, that ordinary mortals can afford - otherwise hard to obtain!

At present has to be a winner for the seeker of quality.
No dislike about the drink. It was good product, part of a ten malt 50th birthday present and Tobermory in top four.

Very tasty and decent value
I really like this malt. I recently visited Mull and while I enjoyed tasting the drams in the distillery, the price of the bottles was considerably higher than on Amazon, so I ordered from here. I find this a very tasty, yet smooth dram, especially considering it's 46% proof. There are very pleasant hints of orange barley sugar and vanilla but it's not too sweet on the pallet. I can't really taste the spice, they suggest cinnamon and clove, but I really enjoy the hint of salt which is evident. I like this either neat, or with just a few drops of water. It opens up a little if poured for a while before drinking. Overall a fantastic dram for £35. I'm looking forward to trying the Ledaig the next time it appears on offer. I think the added complexity from the peat should be a tasty addition. I hope you find my review helpful.

Outstanding value!
Can't say much more than other reviewers, other than anyone saying this has no character is lacking a palete. It is easy drinking, and has a middle of the road profile, with sweet notes of vanilla and fruit and a little pepper on the tongue from above average ABV. Great for both seasoned single malt lovers and those that are still finding their feet with whiskies. This is a good whisky to keep in for guests, or for cold winter nights in front of the fire.
