This is one of the few krill oil products I could find that uses fish gelatin caps vs the more common bovine gelatin. Due to alpha gal, I try to avoid mammal derived gelatin and it’s hard to stomach the taste of plain non encapsulated fish oil. So I’m thankful that this product exists even though it’s on the pricy side. I’ve been very happy with this formula. I’ve purchased it 4 times. It’s consistently fresh and feels high quality. The capsules are odorless, tasteless and easy to swallow. They don’t leak, stick together or clump. They are on the small side for krill oil caps. I do wish they were a little larger so they contained more of the active ingredients, but I just take 2 daily as suggested. I also like that they are packaged in glass.

I have always loved Dr. Mercola's supplements. I have listened to him for years and have purchased many products of his. I have never been disappointed. He does his research to make a quality product and yes, he does discuss health issues that will connect to his supplements he sells; however, I have never felt what he says was not in-line with factual evidence. His products are always effects as is this one, easy to swallow and on the pricey side, but as they say you get what you pay for sometimes. I do not mess around with supplements as they are there to be effective for your better health.

Good product

I have used this krill oil for sometime now. I can't say I know it's superior to others but Dr. Mercola is a well known and respected Dr. I've read several articles that state krill oil is better than other fish oils. It is the same price on Amazon as Mercola market.

I've been buying this for years for my son who was hyperactive and agressive. At one point, I tried to save money and go with Mega Red brand, which was like putting him on nothing! It was absolutely chaos and I was feeling like pulling my hair out until I could get Dr. Mercola's back in the house. It has SUCH a profound affect on my son. He is even keeled and a joy to be around when he takes it. When he forgets to take it, I can always tell- he's bugging his sisters all day and is more argumentative with everyone. Also, since my two daughters were toddlers, they have cried almost nightly about leg cramps, sometimes even unable to walk. My chiropractor said that he heard fish oil helps cramps, but he didn't know the why behind it. I put my girls on Dr. Mercola's Arctic Krill Oil, and immediately, their cramps disappeared. After 2 weeks? I asked them, and they said that they couldn't remember the last time they had any pain. It's now been a few months, and the pain has been gone, except for the week we ran out. My one daughter has knock-knees too. I researched onlune, and found out that these 3 symptoms indicate Rickets- vit. D deficiency! So I Googled how much natural vit. D is in krill oil, and it is a significant amount. So my theory is that the krill has vit. D which relaxes muscles, calms down hyperactivity, and builds strong bones and teeth (preventing knock-knees). So sad for my children, but I'm glad I at least caught it hopefully before it's too late. I strongly recommend this krill oil because vit. D is really a HORMONE, and I don't want to be putting any more synthetic hormones into my children's bodies than they are already exposed to in the environment.

It works and I have been taking it for a long time it does help
