Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertized and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon, and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Seller's have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Jim Dunlop 5010 Dunlop Mic Stand Pkhldr 7"
Excellent product. I play rhythm guitar and lead praise & worship for Celebrate Recovery. At least once a service, I accidentally launch a pick and have to scramble for another one.. I tried the holders that keep a stack of picks but never wanted to stick it onto my custom Stratocaster and on the music stand was awkward. I noticed that John Fogerty uses one of these in his concerts. This holder works great. It is all rubber and snaps securely onto my boom and the picks are held in place by a slot that runs the length of the holder. Because the rubber is strong, I found it best to space my picks about a half inch apart so a thicker pick doesn't hold the rubber slightly open for a thinner pick next to it. As I'm singing and launch a pick I quickly grab another one, barely even missing a beat. I can't believe what a great product it is for the price.

Or worse, pull one out of your pocket and drop ...
There just isn't much to say about this... They say put your MONEY where your mouth is... I say put your PICK(s) where your mouth is..! These clip to your mic stand, they securely hold about 8 to 10 extra picks, and they are right in front of you when you drop a pick, or break a pick... And if you play out, on stage, for any length of time, there will be a time when you loose a pick.! For just a few dollars you can a few extras close at hand, when you need them.. You won't have to stop the band, or go look for one between songs... Or worse, pull one out of your pocket and drop your hotel pass, or car keys, on stage.. ( How embarassing to have to explain to the hotel front desk that some girl took your room pass while you were on stage...) NOT that I ever had that happen, L.O.L...... Get One of these, just do it..!!

As seen on rock star microphone stands everywhere
This is firm rubber, not flimsy, and it attaches and holds in place on your microhone boom, no probem. The slot is a little tough to get my Fender Heavy celluloid picks into, but I imagine that medium or thin picks would be easier. I also figure that with continued use it will get a little easier. For sure your picks will not be falling out of this; importantly, when you're putting in or taking out a pick, the others stay firmly in place. And when you're yanking out a pick, the holder will not come loose at all. This Dunlop pick holder seems sturdy enough that, unless you lose it, you should have it for many, many years. If I lost this, I'd buy another right away.

Stays put & holds the picks tight!
I have tried a many of pick holders in my 50 years of playing and this little jewel is the best I have ever had. Stays put, holds my picks at easy access and it was cheaper to purchase than the other pick holders I have bought and tried! Thanks for a great product!
