16" Tall Indoor/Outdoor Patina Finish Piggyback Kids Yard Statue Decoration

I love the design and the size is perfect for my small front yard. I put it in the front so everyone can see the fun design. It is heavy enough that I don't need to worry about it blowing over on windy days. This is a great addition to my garden.

I'll give this a 5 star for now. It seems sturdy and solid, is very attractive. I have seen other reviews complaining about Alpine statues falling apart after being in the weather, so I don't know if this will stand up long term or not.

Very rich looking. First one came broken but 2nd one was fine. Really love the way in looks on my rock garden.

Item was exactly what I wanted.

This statue was EXACTLY what we wanted for our garden where we have a decorative bench to put it on. Once we set it there (7/22), it was never moved and many neighbors commented on hw great it looked. HOWEVER, within 18 months, it pitted, peeled, rusted, chipped, and faded. The manufacturer's description of this product states, "DURABLE LAWN STATUE constructed from durable polystone with a bronze patina finish. The yard decoration is weatherproof and rust resistant for years of quality use on your lawn or in your home." We did not even get 18 months of "quality use." My husband contacted the company who reused to do anything since we had "bought it too long ago." We are disappointed that we can no longer use these statues, but more disappointed that Alpine, the manufacturer did not stand behind their product as they described it. BUYER BEWARE!

The statues are separate and can be tilted the way you want. They are very sturdy and have good definition. My only complaint is the paint work is dull and is not as nice as the photograph. The green areas are dark and not enough gold highlights are on them. I will probably touch up the highlight to make it brighter.. The faces are nice and "brass" like with a sheen. On the whole, the figurines are good, they just need brightening up. I am using them on the corner of my fireplace hearth. Update: I have uploaded two photos, a Before and After. I gave the figurines a touch up with watercolor paint. Then I found that Sharpie has pens that will work. The standard Sharpie gold can be rubbed on the finger and then onto the figurines and will duplicate the existing highlights. There is also a Sharpie Gold Paint pen that will put a bright mark where you use it. So I re-highlighted and then sprayed them with acrylic craft spray. I used Matte, but I think gloss or semi-gloss would work better. I don't know if the improvements would stand up to outside weather elements (maybe with a good coat of spray), but I am placing this on my fireplace hearth. The improvements made big difference.

This is really cute and a nice size to display - I didn’t look close enough but this isn’t two (2) boys - it’s a boy with a girl in his back in a dress My fault but I liked it well enough to keep it anyway
