poor instructions-critical step omitted
was about to return these (bought 2) but did a little trouble shooting and its the instructions that need returning. When you've charged the battery through the charging port you then need to connect that wire to another port on the helicopter. This became obvious when I took the battery out-since I could then see that it wasn't connected to anything in the helicopter. I don't see anything in the manual about that-though now it is pretty obvious. I have an earlier version that doesn't require this step.

Worst purchase of all, gift to my little brother, the helicopter doesn't respond well to the remote, then stopped working after a while, not recommend at ALL!
