Pleasantly surprised
I was wary of purchasing a guitar online, but I couldn't be happier. This small guitar sounds bigger and richer than I thought possible for one of its size, so it will be a great travel guitar. Empire Music tuned it, put a battery in the tuner, packed it well, and shipped quickly. Very satisfied.

THIS is an AMAZING guitar
AWESOME GUIATR!!! A little hesitant purchasing a guitar without a chance to play it 1st...WORTH the risk!!! WELL made and soooo playable...Had to change out the strings from the heavy gauge strings to something more playable for me ( .010 - .046 )...It plays like BUTTER. I am VERY happy with this guitar!!!

TAYLOR guitars have good bass and treble balance.
Great for hang out and travel. If amped, it rocks.

Love the GS mini
I bought this guitar fro my wife but I'm probably using it as much. Great sound and transports easily. I love the built- in tuner. It is more accurate that the APPS.

Small body, laminated Rosewood short scale
I have had several high end Taylor guitars. I normally play Telecasters when playing out. I bought this for home use or possibly Church functions. Due to my weak left hand from nerve damage, I changed the heavy gauge strings to Silk & Steel .011-.047, I like them so far. Warm sound, not brittle or harsh. I will be playing it more often now. It looks nice and sounds very good with these strings.

If the weight and size this doesn't resonate get a 700 series. I have one and LOVE this!!!
It's lighter to get used to in the ear.

Look out for fret buzz.
After owning this for a month, I'm still trying to tame a really bad fret buzz problem. I think the cause is a too-low saddle, especially on the treble side. Bought a Tusq saddle with a 15" radius but it was cut like the original so I ordered the14" version which for some reason is properly sized so you can file the dimensions to what you want. I think it will work and I'm very dissapointed that I need to do this on a new Taylor.
