I'm not sure how to judge the quality of Sea Buckthorn oil, but I bit into one of the capsules and it did not taste rancid, and actually tasted fresh. I can't say for sure if it has made any difference to how I feel yet, but I bought it as a preventative - in other words, just to stay healthy. Seemed like good value. Will buy again.

I should probably preface this by saying I've bought literally 1000's of products online over the years, but I've written maybe a small handful of reviews. A product has to be really THAT good or THAT bad for me to take to the keyboard. This product is THAT good! In my mid-40's, I started to have what I consider to be serious skin issues--enlarged pores, a very rough and ruddy complexion and acne unlike anything I'd ever seen before. Let me explain, and I apologize for being to graphic, but I want you to understand how bad it was. My skin was very bumpy and even though I didn't have actual visible whiteheads, I could squeeze virtually any bumpy spot on my face and my pores would ooze sebum and, more often than not, a hard, segmented clear-ish "plug." I had no idea what it was. So, I turned to the Internet... I found information of Demodex mites. Apparently, these little creatures live on the surface of all human skin, but for some reason--probably some autoimmune glitch--they wreak more havoc on some of us. I was very much skeptical of what I read, but the magnified pictures on Google did look remarkably like the "plugs" I'd been getting out of my pores. And, while I'd not been to a dermatologist for an official diagnosis, my skin definitely had the appearance of rosacea (which, according to my research, is believed by many renowned dermatologists to be caused by these Demodex mites). Anyway...whatever the cause, I had horrible skin. It was so bumpy and itchy, and picking at it always resulted in oozing, which, let's face it, feels good at the time because you think, "Great...I'm getting all of this gunk out of my skin!" But at the end of the day, picking just makes everything worse--scarring, low grade infection, etc. In desperation, I took the advice of one of the sites I'd been reading and started looking for Sea Buckthorn Oil, which was touted as a successful treatment for Demodex mites and the resulting rosacea-like condition. This particular brand seemed to have the most positive reviews here on Amazon. I ordered it and received it on November 7th. I began taking it immediately, and I have now taken it five days. The results are absolutely amazing! My skin is clear, smooth and soft. No bumps. No oozing. No itching. Honestly, it looks better than it did when I was in my 20's! I'm blown away! If I read anything anyone else had written claiming such profound results in five days, I would probably just completely dismiss their review. Nothing can work that well in five days, right??? This is another reason I hesitated to write this review. I'd hate to have anyone disregard my review, thinking it's too good to be true, and maybe miss out on something that could really help them. So...I'm taking a chance in writing this. Hopefully, though, you'll give this product a try and see for yourself. Oh, by the way...an added bonus is this...I suffer from chronic constipation due to prescription medications I have to take. The Sea Buckthorn Oil has cleared that up as well! I have read this to be the case for others, too, and I have to believe it's true. The Sea Buckthorn Oil is the only thing I'm doing differently. All in all, I am thrilled that that little voice urged me to buy this product. The positive changes for me have been beyond amazing. I wish all of you who are experiencing similar problems to my own better health and happiness.

Product quality is excellent. Delivery was a bit delayed, perhaps due to weather/storms delay. Will give benefit of the doubt. Need more time with the product to really see the difference I'm hopeful for. Due to levels of Omega 6, I supplement with additional Omega 3 in order to keep ratio of Omega6/Omega3 < 1. Otherwise you might feel stiffness/inflammation in joints. Higher levels of Omega 6 plays role in inflammation response. Looking to increase my Omega 7 values significantly. Will have to come back and report on that in the future.

It has improved my health and works as advertised.

I usually get dry skin in the winter and I don't like to use lotion so I tried this product. I take 2 in the morning and 2 before going to bed and within a week, I could feel the dryness go away. This is an amazing product for dry skin.

A pharmacist recommended Seabuck Thorn to me due to my psoriases and diabetic health. I've been taking this for 1 month now but I already see an improvement with my psoriasis and hair growth/thickness. (Psoriases was so thick on my scalp I was showing bald spots) and I've already noticed my symptoms from my bloodsugars being out of whack (because let's be honest, I don't care for it like I sould) I will definitely continue taking this.

I ordered in September and again in March. The pills in September looked green on the inside and the pills in March are red. I feel like the green pills worked so im not sure what's going on but we will see

It was good, finished a pack almost, great for stomach issues and helps heal the stomach lining much faster than anything!

Quite smelly. Not used to this product. It also stains when the capsule is broken. Fish oil is cheaper and tastier
