Although this is designed to store pens, I purchased two to store a collection of vintage pocket knives. The lining of each slot ensures that the knife will not be scratched. It’s possible to place more than one knife in a slot if they are of the smaller designs. There is one pull out drawer in addition to the top section. Top section has glass display. Very sturdy, high quality wood with an appealing finish.

I feel higher class pulling my joints out of this case over a hard case cigarette pack holder. 10/10 100% recommend, it's a beautifully crafted box with very shiny hinges. I love it.

I was looking for a medium-priced pen holder display for my small 20 pen collection. Came across this case on Amazon. Holds 23 pens on two levels. The top level has a glass window that you open to access the pens (holds 12 pens). The second level is a drawer that holds 11 pens. Overall quality is very good. The fit and finish is pretty much flawless. Drawer opens smoothly. Access to the pen storage is wide open. You can surely order a more expensive holder if that's what you want. For every day storage and protection of the pens you have (23 or less), this case is just the ticket. Highly recommend it!

Not much I can say that hasn’t already been said. The box looks really nice, seems decently sturdy. My only complaints are that the actual pen holders are made out of some sort of cardboard and that the lower drawer can come out completely without much effort. Overall it’s a great display case for pens though

Can’t rate sturdiness because we just received, but item is a pretty wood, everything just as described. The upper insert is a little flimsy if you remove it, but fine in place. Ordered for my husband, he has some special & nice pens from his dad. He is well pleased. The drawer slides open easily

This display case is, without a doubt, well worth the money. By the way, the red color is quite rich looking. The case is very sturdy, the hardware is very strong and the overall quality is above what I expected. You, IMHO, can't go wrong with the display case.

When I saw this case I kept wondering if it would fit Namiki Emperor sized pens; the big beautiful beasts that I love… well, great news. It does. And my goodness it makes them look even more beautiful. This case is very well crafted, nicely packed and is unbeatable for the price. Actually unbeatable for namiki emperor collectors at any price because you won’t find a case that can comfortably and safely fit 23 pens in total that are emperor size or smaller. 12 on top under glass display and 11 below. Thank you to whoever the heck designed this beautiful display box.
