Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies, Dark Chocolate, 20 Packs Tub, 2 Cookies Per Pack

Two buttery, rich, delicate wafers with just a hint of sweetness... with a divine, fairly thick layer of chocolate between them. Overall the cookie is about 1/2 inch thick by about 2 inches long. The first bite is light crisp texture, and then it just melts in your mouth. This is the kind of cookie you will want to eat slowly. I've eaten them plain and simple with a glass of milk, I've nibbled on them with tea, and I've dipped them in hot cocoa. Any way you eat them they're mmm mmmmm GOOD! You only get 15 cookies in each bag, but once you've tried them, you won't hesitate to go out and buy them again. Sure, you can buy other brands of cookies for the same price and get double the quantity, but the quality of the Milano will win you over and you won't CARE about the dollars! If anything, it will just make you savor each heavenly little cookie that much more. Amazon Pantry's price of $2.88 is very good, but Walmart (here in RI) is currently selling them for the same price, and you can get them on sale for a little less ($2.50) if you watch the store sale papers. For those who watch their diets carefully, each cookie has about 70 calories, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 4.5 grams sugar.

Great Value - so fresh

I LOVE these cookies. Perfect blend of crispness, chocolate and sweet. I'm sure I'll go through this bucket in a few days and suffer diabetes. The price is much better than buying the standalone ones and you get two cookies per pack. I do wish they didn't use so much plastic but I guess they didn't want the cookies to get smashed as they get distributed. C'est la vie.

20 packs of 2 cookies...these are snack sized and much smaller than the same cookies sold in a bag. Delicious and arrived in perfect shape, but the snack size isn't super obvious during purchase, so this was a disappointment.

Reading others reviews, I could tell some buyers were not familiar with Milano Cookies. Some complaints were that there wasn’t enough chocolate... that is the way they make them, on purpose! Some complained that the ‘use by date’ was only 3 months. That is standard, that is NOT stale! Some reviews thought the cookies were not crisp enough. Milano is a thin short bread cookie. Each bag contains 3 layers with 4 cookies on each layer. That is 12 cookies per bag OR a total of 36 cookies for $8 plus and free shipping. My delivery was free next day delivery. Glad to say only about 10-12 % of the cookies had broken in half. No chocolate melted outside of the cookie. My Milano bags shipped from Ft Myers, Florida to Port Charlotte, Florida in 97’ weather that felt like 110’ or more! Maybe the condition becomes more melted and broken the further they travel! Am enjoying my Milano cookies so much!! One reviewer said the cookies were smaller. They were not smaller, they are exactly how Pepperidge Farm always makes them. My only suggestion for improvement would be a bit more peppermint flavor, otherwise the cookies are very delicious and I highly recommend them!!
