My husband is happy! Works his Weber like his Green Egg!!

I’ve only used it for wings on my 22” Weber kettle but it was extremely impressed with how it really focuses the heat to the center. The heat goes up and hits the dome of the lid for an even cook. Spread your wings on the perimeter of the grill grate for an indirect cook. 45 minutes later and you have some seriously tasty wings. Good product and a little cheaper than the Weber brand.

I understand people who want to buy American, who want to support innovators... I'm not one of them. Up to you whether you want to spend 2-2.5x, I'll make no reference the cost or value for money in my review. This accessory is must-have, having an extreme high-intensity sear zone in the middle while still maintaining convection cooking properties gives you a huge advantage. You can't achieve these same extremes by just piling your coals up on one side. I reverse-seared the tri tip in my photo, just about 90 seconds per side. Chicken wings, chicken thigh and drum sections come out incredibly well, circled around the middle, just rotate your kettles' lid a quarter turn every ten minutes or so. I would also recommend buying a grill grate with a removable center. My mid-tier Weber kettle did not come with one. The center of the cone gets to 6-700+ degrees! My solid-centered grate held up fine, but, it's a lot of wear and tear and extra scorching you don't want. This also gives you the option to drop in cast iron insets, or cast iron cookware directly above the coal.

Arrived on-time. works well to super focus the heat. DO NOT pass your hand over the cone when the coals are fully burning. It's that hot! –perfect for offset and searing.

Package arrived quickly and was well packaged. The heavy, thick-gauge stainless feels like quality material and the spot welds on the seam look good. I'm pleased with the purchase (especially for the price vs. the popular brand name). Fits perfect in on my 22" Weber grill with the cast iron grill grate I also purchased at the same time. Got both for under a $100.

Updated my 17 year old Weber with a new rack that opens in ghe middle and two sides to hold charcoal. All hhere fit. Its nice to have hot and not so hot spots on the grill I really like all of this

Don't know how the original Vortex could work any better. It's just a tin cylinder. I've used it a lot and it's held up fine.

Great quality, thick steel vortex fits perfectly in my standard Weber kettle. Protected the chicken wings beautifully. Shame it took the 2nd order to arrive. First order got mixed up and I got a box of tarot cards and other freaky cultist books. Tried to summon a BBQ demon from the incantations in the books, unsuccessfully, so threw them on the coals. Man they sparked!

You can really get a searing hot bed of coals with this. Quality is good , easy to use and worth the money. If you like charcoal grilling this is a good tool to add to your list of grilling accessories.

Does what it says. Temperature gets up over 600 degrees on my Weber performer. I would highly recommend this. Seems to be of great quality. Glad I purchased it. No need to use Weber charcoal baskets. I just turn this upside down for lower temperature indirect cooking and finish the cook by placing food directly over the coals.
