Just got these today. Anxious to see if they help my histamine intolerance symptoms. They tasted great to me right out of the bag, but I speak as someone who hasn't had any red meat in about three months. If they seem to increase my B6 and help my symptoms, I will definitely keep purchasing.

Regular people need more companies like this, sourcing meat from organic suppliers who understand that NOT ALL ORGANIC is the same, and take a stand against chemical agents used for profit, not for health. As this is Australian beef, any product from dairy to meat can carry a risk of having came from cattle treated with 3-Nitrooxypropanol, brand name: Bovaer. The chemical additive Bovaer (3-Nitrooxypropanol) is synthetic and ONLY ADDED FOR PROFIT TO REDUCE COWS FARTING METHANE, NOT FOR YOUR HEALTH, and is CARCINOGENIC due its chemically aggressive nitrogenous group. Imagine if you were fed a chemical that broke down lawn grass in your stomach so you could eat cheaper greens... Now regarding the taste, it's really good for freeze dried kidney (raw kidney tastes quite metallic, no getting around that), no bloating or upset stomach, seems very clean microbiologically. Some pieces are a bit softer than the entirely dried pieces, but so far they've tasted just as good. Very happy to have discovered Grassland Nutrition, and I really respect their attempt at being morally transparent in regards to the company they source meat from, while other companies with fancier marketing act like this should be a trade secret!

I am happy the cow had a pasture and good food. This was not for myself. It was recommended for my very senior (17 year old) fur baby's vet. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, if your kidneys are weak, eat kidney. Only the best for him. I looked at other products, and prices and issue such as shipping. Happy I chose this one. I will order again.

I got these for my dad who has kidney disease, but after I tried them, I decided not to bother. The taste is pretty nasty, and I have a VERY open mind about food and will eat just about anything. There's no way my dad would eat this. Bonus though, my dog loves them and they won't go to waste, and I'll probably buy more for him. The company can't help how kidney tastes, but yuck.

Great for dogs instead of junk treats for them, but not that tasty or edible for humans.

Organ meat is not going to taste like jerky, but my problem with this product is there were darker chunks that were still moist and not completely dried. These bites are freeze dried so they’re dry and crunchy but once in a while you bite into a soft, chewy, and smushy piece and I swallow them down and try not to think about the taste.

I take this with their freeze dried liver and kelp and have noticed a huge boost in energy, sleep quality and clarity of mind. The taste is pretty mild compared to the freeze dried liver and kelp. If you’re thinking about trying this go for it!
