Excellent bumper, easy installation.

Leaves radiator exposed
Great fit and easy install however it will leave part of your radiator exposed, I fabricated my own skid plate and it was pretty easy, it is heavy, mine showed up a bit damaged but it was fixable, it is not steel, it’s a way softer material!

This bumper saved our truck. But shipping was horrid.
Lost 1 star for the seller's shipping practice. Who ever packaged this bumper was the inventor of the half full bag of potato chips in a previous life. The 30" cardboard cube box arrive as ROUND as cardboard box can be. It looked like it was rolled across the U.S. to my porch. Inside was mattress shipping type bags for each of the big metal parts, with a couple pieces of 1/4" foam pad randomly floating around in the massively over sized box. It was scuffed to bare metal in many places. Some scratches were 1"x3". Amazon made good with a big discount, and we bought a couple rattle cans of undercoat for touch up. - 5 stars for the durability. The truck was involved in a collision a few months after install. The bumper bull guard saved the truck. The bumper mounts crushed a little, but in a good way. It caused the bumper to pivot front upwards and the rear facing ears down toward the ground a couple inches. This moved them down away from the finders instead of into them. The bumper mounts compressed slightly, and may or may not be able to be fixed. We may need to buy another bumper or install shims. But for the price, it protected the truck 100% No damage to the rest of the truck. And you cannot even tell the truck was in a wreck unless you notice the drooped ears. The truck would have been totaled if it had an OEM bumper on it. So if we have to buy another one, it is good insurance spent, and cheaper than a deductible. The other vehicle did not fair well. That energy had to go somewhere. For the record, no one was injured. No airbags deployed (How I don't know). The installation was completed in a few hours. I cannot say that's how long it should take, as we were rebuilding the front end from a previous MVA. It did take some time to tweak all the bumper wing bolts to get the fit right. But that is part the fault of the bumpers multi part design, the MVA damage, and probably some issues relating to the deliver mentioned above. The fit was fairly good, consider the truck's issues. The finish is course, and I do not expect it to last more than a few years before some 'more' rust appears. We have not installed a wench yet. But I believe this will be a fairly good bumper for pulling this small truck out of a ditch, and general utility work. All that said, this bumper makes the truck look a bit more aggressive, and complements the bigger all terrain tires. Truck: Ford Ranger 2003, XLT 4x4.

Not great, but great for the price!
First off, this bumper isn't on the same level as an ARB or Buckstop bumper, but it's only about 1/10th the price of those options. The bolt-on wings aren't super sturdy, and there's no provision for mounting fog lights, either. The box that it came in was absolutely destroyed, and the powder coat had numerous deep scratches, which I touched up with spray paint. The bumper design leaves the bottom edge of the radiator exposed, so you'll need to either buy the Affordable Offroad skid plate or fabricate your own skid plate if you actually do any off-roading. With all that being said, I'm still very happy with the bumper for the sub-$250 price I paid for it. I think that it will provide enough protection from a deer strike that I'll still be able to drive away afterwards, and the winch mount looks like it should be strong enough to recover a vehicle the weight of a Ranger. I'm currently building a skid plate, and I plan on reinforcing the bolt-on bumper wings with an extra bracket that I am building that connects to the outside of the frame rail. I'll use this bracket to mount some aftermarket fog lights, too. So, as long as your expectations for a bumper in this price range are reasonable, I'd say go for it!

Worth it
Looks and fits great on the truck! Especially considering the price I would say this product is worth it. A few side notes however are that mine did not come with any bolts; I recommend buying 1/2” bolts to put it together if this is the case. It also might be helpful to bring a rubber mallet in case any mounting points on your truck are slightly bent. That being said the product is great and I’d definitely buy it again!

Scratched to hell !!!
Product arrived scratched to hell, powder coat is of very low quality and they ship in a flimsy box. Would like to get a partial refund that's how bad its scratched up. Before you buy just know your gonna need to pay to get a new paint job for it.

Fit well
Bolted up on my 2002 just as it should. Package was a little beat up, but otherwise it looked good. It's a cheap bumper, so I don't expect to hang a tank from it. I used a floor jack and a couple of ratchet straps to hang it. It definitely would have been easier with a friend. NOTE!! This bumper does not go as low as the factory bumper and fascia assembly. It will leave the bottom of the radiator and the radiator support exposed. I bought a sheet of steel and made a skid plate.

Looks great but needs tweaks
I’m happy with the final product, but you need to go in with it knowing a few things. First, it’ll be shipped to you all banged up. My first shipment didn’t get to me. Apparently, it fell apart in transit and was returned to sender. The second shipment I received was barely in tack. All the nuts and bolts were spilled. Luckly, they include an odd number of extras for some reason. The metal is going to be all scratched up too. I used Rust-oleum bed coating (2 cans of the 15oz) and looks great. Next, as others have said, the bummer oddly doesn’t completely cover the radiator and condenser. I purchased a 12”24” Aluminum Tread Plate from Lowes to make a makeshift skid plate. That’s more $ to know you’ll need to spend. I was able to slightly bend the plate and secure it to the bumper and the bottom of the radiator. Holds my Harbor Freight 9500lb winch great. Overall it’s not a complete product IMO and the company doesn’t give a crap about the condition you get it in, but still cheaper than others out there. I’d realistically rate it 3.5, 4 if they would care about the shipping.
