We just returned from Switzerland and wanted to recreate the raclette experience at home. We are just two of us, and have a small kitchen, so we purchased the Boska Mini Raclette. Used it for the first time last night with Swiss raclette cheese. The machine was just like we had in a small restaurant in Switzerland! It melted the cheese perfectly, and was a snap to clean up. With a small salad, cornichons, pickled onions and a bottle of white wine, we were back in Switzerland. A fast, easy meal with almost no cleanup. Machine was exactly as promised, worked like a charm, and could even accommodate 3 or 4 persons, if each is willing to wait a few minutes for his/her turn. Melting a 1/3" thick slice of cheese takes no more than two minutes once machine is warmed up.Now 5 years later! We continue to use the mini-raclette every month or two. It still works perfectly and we highly recommend it!

I got this last winter and have used it a bunch - it's really convenient, and comes with little plastic spatulas to get the cheese out of the little pans without scratching the non-stick surface. I already had a large raclette maker (8 person) which took too much space on my kitchen table, got too hot, and was inconvenient to dig out of the cabinet (ok, i'm lazy), and I rarely have 8 people over wanting raclette.It's a great compact size and can be used for 4 people since each person doesn't need a slice of cheese melting at all times. The on/off switch is convenient so you don't have to get up and unplug it during the meal if you're still eating, but done with melting raclette, and it heats up quickly too if you change your mind. I wanted the on/off switch since my last raclette maker would boil everyone at the table as though we were sitting next to an open fire, however there was no such problem with the mini raclette. The raclette was melted quickly and perfectly. Also, though the top grill is small, I just put the pot (medium size) of boiled potatoes right on top, and it kept them hot (keep a tiny bit of water in the bottom of the pot).

It is a perfect table top cheese grill for 2 adults who know what Raclette actually is. Not quite as dramatic as a Swiss resort Inn, but it melts the cheese good and its anti-stick trays clean easily. Mine came missing one screw, I contacted Boska via email in Holland, I think. They responded for me to send pictures of where missing screw came from , which I did. But, I never heard back. Thankfully, I found a stainless screw at Home Depot and was able to fix myself. This device is efficiently designed — almost too efficient. Do not use around kids nor pets as it’s Volkswagen Beetle Type 1-esque design has virtually no safeguards and does get pretty hot. We love to use it, though.

The best little raclette for one person, I am very tempted to use it every day! I moved to a very small space with no kitchen, and that raclette makes me feel like I live in Paris again. I am vegetarian and I used different veges almost every day for a fancy diner with candles. It was the best present I bought for myself. A little miracle. Easy to use, fit on a small table, easy to clean, and works very well. I could go on forever, I am so happy!

This is the perfect size for one or two people. It heated up quickly and melted a little square of cheese perfectly. While I wouldn't use it to cook raw meat, I did find that it kept pre-cooked veggies and meat warm. Overall, a very fun way to have a grilled meal!

This grill is great for raclette cheese! It melts it evenly and quickly and it is easy to empty the cheese out of the tray. It is also very easy to clean up! Love it
